and bioshock infinite.
Just comes down to what you, as a gamer, deem "fun". To some, fun is breezing through a game on easy, just enjoying the story. To others, fun is being challenged and despite failure, feeling rewarded through improvement. Project CARS is the latter for me.
You mean the article analyzing a TWEET? Yes, I did. And in no way are my thoughts not reflective of that. Whether you agree or not, remasters are a way to accomplish 2 things rather easily in the grand scope: Bring classics to modern systems, which many do want. And to provide a quick inflow of cash for the remasters that can help publishers during downtime (development time). What's the point you were trying to make again?
Said all the PC gamers waiting for RDR.
oh come on if they'd put "underground 3" at the end you'd be doing summersaults.
Why do they suck with NFS game names? First they have NFS: Most Wanted for TWO titles and now just "Need for Speed"... really? Why not identify every game with a unique subtitle?
Demands less remasters...
*looks at all the halo remasters and soon-to-be Gears resmaster(s).
Okay.
For other publishers though, it IS a good way to make extra money with minimal development. Plus, as I've said for years... just like when we jumped from VHS to DVD and when we jumped from DVD to Blu-ray, we want those classics on the modern format. It works the same with Video games.
"there will be new divas, legends and superstars added to roster. The game should also include “gameplay innovations” and “presentation updates.”
... hey now, don't get so specific. Save some for E3.
@Xman2K, I'm all for the biggest roster possible! I'm pretty picky though... if they do a WCW mode they better make the ring smaller. haha
If you liked AA & AC, you'll like this game. Looks exactly the same. Large, empty area with pockets of thugs. Get in the same gang fight brawl over and over while looking for hundreds of 'trophies' after a short campaign in which you blast through a dozen of batman's biggest foes easily.
If you think the batmobile will add anything to this game, I honestly think you're going to be let down. It's merely a way to fast travel (oh and you can blow up s...
Konami's going to see MGSV sales and say "oh yeah, consoles do matter, our bad."
Of course. The first one sold incredibly well for a new IP. And I know people like hating on remasters but I'll be right there getting it on my new-gen system.
GT7 will at least be officially announced with a teaser. Hopefully much more than a teaser though.
You have to understand that the advancement of consoles and their games is not exponential. While the jump from ps1 to ps2 was mindblowing, the jump from ps2 to ps3 wasn't nearly as earthshattering. Likewise, we're seeing that the jump from ps3 to ps4 is even more similar. There simply won't ever be a jump like there was early on because advancements cannot be expected to keep that pace. Improvements will be smaller and smaller.
Not to mention in general that as w...
I really hope Morpheus games aren't gimmicky but rather rich game experiences enhanced by morpheus. That's why it concerns me they need a dev focusing only on morpheus. Shouldn't all of their first party games be able to benefit from Morpheus?
Good thing you clicked on the post then.
OT: I played on PC when it released but am excited to go back on console and check it out with all of the updates.
It's true. if the power matched the ps4/xb1 then you could legitimately ONLY have a nintendo system, which fans would love in an ideal world. But as it is, the Wii U is complementary to the new gen experience.
This feels desperate... the reason I say that is because it's clear they're just trying to throw as many xbox's out there as possible, almost as if they're waiting for yahoo or someone to buy the division for a few billion dollars.
I would much prefer discounts on games for existing xb1 owners, which would not only reward us for already buying an xb1 (the ones that deserve discounts) but also entice people to buy the system to get these discounted games.
@Jason, yeah PCs outnumber consoles by a landslide. So that should say a LOT that games continue to sell more on consoles by a landslide.
What Nintendo learned and what MS learned (with Kinect) is that the "general public" attention you seek... though you may get it for a bit, they'll go elsewhere soon as the next 'thing' hits. They'll leave you behind and all that will be left are those of us who have been here ALL along and you'll come crying back to us, saying how important core gaming is to you. You're burning a bridge Konami.
no one ever talks about Carbon... to me that was the last great NFS game. Felt like it was in the same spirit of Underground series.
