"GTA is nothing compared to Titanic"
Boy, if I had a dime for every time I've said that this week...
awful song choice for this kind of trailer. It's like they were trying to do a gears 'mad world' trailer or a lost odyssey white rabbit commercial thing... that's a lot of marketing $$$ down the drain as I'm sure Muse ain't cheap.
Sometimes... not very often, but sometimes I miss the days before the internet. When people formulated their own opinions looking at screenshots in magazines or seeing a cool commercial on tv. So many gamers nowadays just flock to the latest fad in whatever it is everyone's moaning and groaning about and they let that dictate what they play.
Agreed. It's a harder sell via video. I'd rather them show people's reaction while they're playing a PM title.
It's like you can touch it! The screen, I mean.
Well... Good luck with that. Talking to the third party devs, of course.
Oculus on Xbox. aka: the play games in a clean living room simulator.
Why be IN your game, when you can be in a nice, luxurious living room that MS always intended you to be in while you play on your 2D screen?
Personally, I'm excited for the different living room themes we'll be able to download. I'm going to download the one that's all modern with the yoga mats everywhere they always use in the Kinect ads.
Thank god. Now I don't need to clean my actual living room. I can just game in a virtual, clean one now. Thank you, MS.
Personally, I'd take a 1080p/60fps remaster of a classic ps3/360 game on ps4/xbo any day over BC. That's just me, I guess. But what do I know? I also rebought a LOT of old movies I used to own because I wanted to experience them in HD. Stupid money grabbing movie studios... /s
@uptownsoul of course they can. Maybe not with new-gen level graphic fidelity, but VR is so new and so jaw-dropping that you play something like VR Half-Life and still feel more immersed in Black Mesa than most modern titles. VR is about the experience over the graphics right now. As it grows, the graphics will start to match that later.
@iceball ... crash?
Smart of MS beings they're not a hardware company like Sony. This partnership basically means that money is no object and they have unlimited resources to make it do whatever they want.
I disagree that it's more than a demo, it's a demo. But I do agree that I got more enjoyment and hours out of that demo than Second Son or KZ.
So in regards to the demo being worth the price... for me it totally was.
Halo: The... Halo Collection
Eh, fair point.
PS4 streams of witcher dominate XBO version at any given time with number of viewers. PS4 version is selling better on Amazon. Safe to assume...
Just goes to show, PC market is alive and well if you're true to the gamers. PC gamers don't buy into BS or hype. If you make a good, honest product, they'll support the **** out of it. Make one wrong move, though... nope.
If you ask Laker fans who was better in the 80's... lakers or celtics... I think we know the answer.
...E3 works sort of the same way.
I feel like with Joe Montana Footbal 16 being XBO exclusive and being a direct competitor to EA's biggest US sports franchise could sway EA to go with PS more. But still... EA Access was denied on PS by Sony so... I'm just typing and words are being formed, that's all that's really happening right now.
Sounds more like you just plain didn't see anything... as in you didn't watch and are just basing your 'opinion' on some screens you saw of the trailer.
