Obscure, you are defending this number (23k) which is clearly not much given what we expected from a Triple A Bethesda new IP RPG. I think it is rather low and well below games such as Farming Simulator 22, Left 4 Dead 2 and New World.

@ Elda: You too are clearly very off with your numbers estimates.

First of all, only five games in steam reached over a million of gamers and we are talking about DOTA 2, CS, PUGB etc.

So in your opinion...

I would place original xbox first as it had great launch window games from Sega (Sega GT 2002, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Project Gotham series, Phantasy Star) as well as exclusives like Halo, Fable series, Jade Empire, The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, Conker, Crimson Skies, Otogi etc.

Xbox 360 follows closely though.

Original Xbox sold 24 million whereas Gamecube sold approximately 22 million which makes your statement wrong.

Thus in its first foray in console market, MS outsold an established video game company.

They also beat Wii U sales but there is not much to brag in this istance.

Even the 3rd position of Xbox 360 came with 85 million units sold (an increase of 61 million in comparison to previous generation).

Therefore while...

When I was at school, my brother and I pooled resources in order to buy a Playstation 1. I had no intention on buying a Saturn despite gaming in Mega Drive and Nomad.

However it was out of stock and since he did not want to come back empty handed, he bought a Saturn.

I was infuriated by his decision but then he booted.. Exhumed (aka Powerslave). The rest is history!

So many great games. I eventually bought a PS1 but Saturn was my favor...

That game is on my wishlist for many years. Cant wait to play it ! It seemingly has unique gameplay mechanics apart from the aesthetics.

Twisted Metal was my favorite PS1 game ever. I cant remember how many hours I have spent on that game (probably hundred but then again these were the innocent days)

shinoff2183 First of all, I talked about exclusives releasing on xbox, not your personal favorite exclusives.

Xbox Series had some exclusives in its lifetime which you may or may not like despite being a few.

That does not negate the fact that PS fanboys, who complain about the lack of xbox exclusives, appear on xbox articles trying to downplay when they finally release.

Some of those have actually achieved solid metacritic score (Pent...

Alien Isolation is amazing but requires commitment! Choo Choo Charles is on my list. However my horror game backlog is daunting at this point.

Resident Evil Remakes are great (2,34) and the same is true for Dead Space.

Other horror games that I recommend if you like narrative driven horror games, are

Land of Pain, Alien Cube, House of Ashes/Quarry/Little Hope from Dark Pictures anthology.

For old resident evil style ...

It always makes me wonder how PS fanboys can claim that Xbox needs more exclusives only to show up in every article whenever an exclusive is launched on that platform to downplay it, even if they have not played or have any intention to play it.

Oh wait, its called hypocrisy.

The same goes for Xbox fanboys that swarm ps articles.

If you want your favorite brand to do better and release more quality games for your platform, you should a...

Being lake to the party (finished this game in 2022 on Switch and it was my first Assassin's Creed game after 1 back in 2007), I can honestly say that I really liked it despite the newer mechanics that most modern games have now introduced.

Conor was in my opinion likeable because he was driven but gullible (trusted both sides at some point) and his relationship with his father was varied. He started as an orphan who became an assassin who assisted Americans and allied ...

@IRetrouk My bad, I thought you were talking about the new Forza.

But if you allow me, I still have a question in regards to the rebuilt engine mention.

Does it matter that a company says that they rebuilt their engine gameplay wise if it is not that evident?

Forza as you correctly pointed out, improved the game but not necessarily rebuilt it from the ground up. They used it as marketing buzzword to justify the 6 year hiatus between re...

I really cant believe how ugly those graphics are for a 2023 game.

I have played truly horrendous switch ports in my time (just watch the Kursk switch version next to PC or Agony!), but this is supposed to be a Nintendo second party exclusive that looks like a 3DS games.

No facial expressions for a detective game where you interrogate people, is simply non excusable.

LA Noire has amazing facial expressions that revealed clues about the...

I dont know what you mean by "tiny". Perhaps we are looking at this from a different perspective or you are downplaying because its Sony, since you managed to blame Windows for this (Sony is still figuring it with forensic experts but still, you already know the cause!).

From personal data perspective, if this was in the EU, Sony would face serious consequences from the local Data Protection Authority (DPA) as this breach resulted in the exposure of thousands of d...

Its definitely a step down in regards to content in comparison to Forza's 7
500 cars and 20 tracks vs 700 cars and 32 locations .

In any case, if indeed 500 are unique cars like the article states, then that is certainly a positive because other games had many duplicate enhanced or racing editions that bolstered the numbers.

The number of cars and tracks per game has been varied for both GT and Forza however.

I recall back ...

I agree. Eastern style horror games usually (not always though), have great aesthetics (IKAI, Paper Dolls, Masagoro etc).

Gameplay wise however, could do much better
