Driveclub also run at 30fps and had less cars on track at the same time in comparison to Forza available at that time.

This allowed Driveclub to shine on the graphics department and be a real showcase at that time.

they generally dont experiment that much with new IPs but the change in mechanics and gameplay makes their games different and feel fresh, and it mostly works.

For instance Zelda switch from corridor/dungeon 3d linear games to fully open world with crafting mechanics.

Kirby went full 3d which allowed for the mouthfull mechanic to shine.

Donkey Kong Bananja was relying on desctructubility mechanic (even having the most diverse set of mov...

Coming from him that doesnt say much.

He diverted all those studio resources for developing call of duty:

Activision Central Design, Beenox, Activision Localization Dublin, Demonware, Activision Shanghai Studio, Activision QA, Digital Legends Entertainment, High Moon Studios, Infinity Ward, Raven Software, Team Ricochet, Sledgehammer Games, Solid State Studios, Toys for Bob, Treyarch.

@Andy85 Ok this is highly innacurate.

Switch has far more than 3 franchises (splatoon, pipkmin, kirby, mario, zelda, starfox, f-zero, luigi's mansion, donkey kong, metroid, xenoblades etc)

Switch throughout this generation has released at least 10 original games (Arms, Snipperclips, Mario kart live circuit, F-Zero 99, Princess Peach showtime, Nintendo labo, Mario Rabbids, Astral Chain, 1-2 Switch, Sushi striker ,game builder garage)

I wish they brought back the commander mechanic from battlefield 2 with airdrops, artillery requests etc.

Same here, This one i liked the most. The variety in scenery and set pieces was refreshing and the supernatural aspect was well executed.

I am a bit biased however because I love all interactive movie like games

A remake of this game or even a sequel would be a dream come true. Skies of Arcadia, Grandia 2 and Phantasy Star Online were true gems in the Dreamcast library!

They should have at least included Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader, Rebel Strike and Eternal Darkness in that list

I fully agree as I love these games. Luigi's Mansion on Gamecube was a fun experiment to fill the launch window but it ended being up a wonderful game with charm and great graphics.

At this point I am waiting for the rumored Luigi's Mansion 4 for Switch 2, which -if Mansion 3 is any indicator- would be massive and amazing looking

I really love this direct format.

All games looked very nice (surprise Ninja Gaiden 2 was a nice touch).

South of MIdnight remains my favorite showing but Expeditio 33 looked sublime and i really liked the story and acting.

Great characters too!

This time they are playing it safe with no defining gimmicks.

However this time they a) only have one console to focus on (whereas 3ds was still relevant and got games released for it 2 years after switch was launched) b) they have brand awareness and are riding out the success of switch c) they have customer loyalty by supporting backwards compatability and previous online accounts d) they had ample time to prepare the launch line up and set up stock.

I answered to another commentator who stated that it is a lie that companies have in place no white hiring policies which is evidently not true.

You answered to me calling me bigot (classic triggered response) claiming that I provided fake statistics (while providing no evidence to the contrary) and you claim moral high ground.

It is evident that you dont want to discuss anything that doesnt agree with you so I guess that settles it then.

ND makes great games. I didnt personally see anything off putting in the trailer that would warrantee this reaction.

I trust in them to build an amazing story as always. Space setting and Naughty Dog seems like a perfect fit.

That is indeed an issue -Nintendo will need to streamline its studio output if it is to deliver a steady stream of games like it did with Switch (they actually released 11-13 exclusive games per year).

Metroid Prime 4 being presumably cross gen release, will be launch title followed by new 3d Mario and Mario Kart.

If rumours are true, they delayed the system in order to ensure a great launch line up and first year.

@anast how can you be so bitter?

Nintendo released nearly a game per month throughout Switch's lifecycle and many of these have been very good games whereas Sony relied on third party releases to secure a steady stream of games (Stellar Blade, Silent Hill 2, Helldivers 2, Demon Souls, Pacific Drive, Stray, Final Fantasy, Kena bridge of Spirits).

Nintendo releases diverse genre releases as well (from Visual novels,to RPG , fighting games, racing games,...

I would love to see their new project which is reportedly under development since 2017

https://www.ign.com/article...

Maybe the project was canned and rebooted back in 2021 where new listings appeared, cant be sure though.

Also since this is a new IP, it is still possible to release a remaster of Xenoblade Chronicles (which...
