Sometimes the simplest explanation is all you need.
Maybe, people dont like 40$ generic online team-based as many have been released throughout the years in addition to having terrible looking characters with DEI elements shoved for good measure.
As opposed to having a small group of anti woke crusaders who managed to ruin an excellent game by convincing thousands of players to refrain from buying it.
Yes survivor has a 60fps mode. And in fairness, most games have 60fps modes which begs the question why Avowed -which is not that good looking-, does not have a performance mode.
On the other hand you could have used so many other games for this argument and you went for Cross gen games (Ragnarok, Forbidden West, RE Remakes) and sports games.
Demon Souls, Rachet & Clank, GT 7, A Plague Tale Requiem would have been better examples I believe.

I really dont care what the evidence says in this instance. It always worked for me (at least this is what my childhood memories registered :-). Therefore I simply refuse to believe this
Here's hoping it runs decently. I have encountered numerous issues with unoptimized games on Steam Deck than run with sub 30s frames even on lowest settings despite not being very graphically intensive.
Having said that, I am waiting for Steam Deck 2, probably releasing in two years at the earliest (unless the competition releases decent upgrades to Asus Rog Ally and Legion Go)
Interestingly enough, this is one of the reasons Nintendo seems to thrive and is rewarded for its strategy and it is likely to continue experimenting with their games.
Despite being one of the greediest companies out there charging 60 usd for basic remasters of over 10 year old games that cost less when they were released (looking at you Luigis Mansion 2 HD) and Paper Mario releasing with half the frame rate of the original, they do have an advantage of developing games tha...
A little too late. I waited for this on Switch for a long time but it was cancelled only to re emerge on Switch with considerable delay (it was announced for Switch in 2020).
I have now opted for the Steamdeck version which also came with great discount and the version will most likely be superior to the Switch version.
They should have released this much earlier. Next Switch is about to be released in 2025 after all
Yeah same here. Lots of unsuported indie horror games that end up being fully playble with standard controls and no issues whatsoever.
Thus far, most unsupported games run fine on Steamdeck but I have run on some issues with some lesser known games as well (do not boot at all despite trying various proton versions) but again those were mostly indie horror games.
Playable games almost always play well and have minimal if an...
This game is not good actually in my opinion. Played the switch version which had very low resolution and junky frame rate.
Graphics aside, the story is generic, the game lasts approximately 1 hour, it lacks any music or great atmosphere (with the exception of the ending scene which was kinda nice) and there was nothing unique in it.
Regardless of whether you support VR, it is evident from the data presented in this article, that Sony's output of VR2 games is rapidly decreasing.
Firewall Ultra developer First Contact Entertainment has been shut down
London Studio closed
No new VR games by Insomniac
Firesprite had its staff reduced (used to create VR games)
New Astro Bot has no VR more
Deep cuts to funding for VR games according to sources (we do not know ...
I was going to post that but you did a great job already providing the necessary links.
Even Kotaku wrote an article back in March 2024 defending SBI by attempting to educate video game fans who don’t understand what Sweet Baby Inc. does (!!)
Personally I wanted the show to be about games and it delivered! The crazy part is that we still have so many games under development by all companies!
Nintendo has a direct coming (probably more ports though) and an upcoming console early next year with a presumably stellar line up of launch games
Sony has already delivered highly rated third party games
Helldivers 2
FF7 Rebirth
Rise of Ronin
Stellar Blad

I would argue that Zombies would actually improve Birmingham :-)

Well at least there are games like angry birds or clash of clans for mobile gamers :-)
They even put pronouns on the trash dispenser robot character😂
of course you do. We expect nothing less from you

By younger he probably means someone 60+ years old :-)
If any one has seen Jiro Dreams of Sushi movie ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wi... will probably know what I mean by this

They still have under development:
Contraband
Clockwork Revolution
Everwild
Blade
Outer Worlds 2
OD (Kojima Project)
Project Mara
Project Maverick
Elders Scrolls 6
Fallout 5
however many of these are in early stages and can not be shown.
Realistically we can expect more gameplay from the reveals in June (State of Decay gameplay perhaps?), some footage of To...

By far the best announcement in SGF! Although I am biased as horror genre is my favorite.
I am inclined to agree with the article.Lots of cinematic heavy of atmosphere looking games
Something seemed very off with the animation of the main character (could be wrong).
If you focus on shooting scene at 1:29 mark of the video and at the rpg shooting segment at 1:33, you will see how weird the animation is.
It really felt weird for a game of this caliber,
Truth be told, this was an amazing showcase.
Case in point:
