Of course a dual boot with XP and 7 works. I'm using one.
And I don't remember there being any trouble setting it up. I think Windows 7 even asked me about it during installation.
A gaming laptop? Really? If you need to be mobile so badly, you should just get a handheld.
The idea of gaming on a freaking laptop at home makes me shiver.
Troll
Not in games. They're all GPU limited these days.
I only ever played 64 player matches in Battlefield 2. That game was so huge and epic.
Oooh yes. Battlefield 2 finally needs a worthy successor.
<<Sony already had Kinect technology years ago on the PS2.>>
The PS2 had a depth sensing device? First thing I hear. Do you have a link?
A bit longer every day.
This comment probably cost you a few bubbles. They hate it when you call them out.
It will be more open. Wider corridors, you know :-D
I don't own an Xbox. What the heck are you talking about?
He said that we "lost" the franchise. Last I checked Crysis 2 was announced for PC. So we obviously didn't lose anything.
I don't agree. Mass Effect 1 was one of the best games I've ever played. 10/10
Mass Effect 2 is a lot less epic, has a bland storyline, replaced my beloved crew with a bunch of annoying freaks and dropped almost all RPG elements. 8/10
Maybe they are second chances with even lower prices. Although that would anger the people who already bought, so I guess not.
Oh, you have worldwide digital distribution sales data? Link please.
Third person is clearly inferior on a controller. Using the mouse to change the camera perspective and aim is MUCH faster and more precise than using an analog stick.
I agree about fighting, platforming and sports games. But I don't play any of that. For racing games I use a wheel.
Back in the day, Alan Wake was supposed to be set in a huge open environment. Instead, it ended up as a formulaic corridor shooter with six chapters of Short Town Sequence Followed By An Hour Of Pointless Chasing Through The Forest. Rinse and repeat.
I enjoyed the game overall. I particularly liked the dialog system and how my choices actually affected the storyline. In this regard the game is even better than Mass Effect because dialog choices really make a difference throughout the game.
The graphics weren't the best, but most of the texture work was mindblowing. Super high resolution and extremely detailed. Played in 1920x1200 with 8xAA.
Alan Wake is all about running through the woods and fighting the same enemies over and over again. It's one of the most repetitive games I've ever seen.
It shines during the town sequences because the Twin Peaks atmosphere is amazing. But after 5 minutes of daytime in town you'll have to endure 50 minutes of nighttime marathon running through the woods.
Some ideas in the DLC are nice (like the gigantic Ferris wheel), but others are completely ove...
Crysis 2 will be part of Nvidia's The Way It's Meant To Be Played. So Nvidia is a safe bet. It also gives you Physx on some titles (most notably Arkham Asylum) and well supported stereoscopic 3-D drivers.
Battlefield is out for consoles as well. So a Sandy Bridge is complete overkill.
