I like having everything in one place, under one account. So I don't use anything other than Steam.
There are a few games on GOG I'd really like, but I wait for them to come to Steam. I've got plenty of game choices in the meantime.
How is it an opinion? I posted numbers from the actual site. How about you click the link?
And yes, 360 outlets probably work the same way. Everybody is obsessed with exclusives, so console specific magazines inflate the ratings.
Of course they do, it's a Playstation exclusive.
Just check Metacritic:
http://www.metacritic.com/g...
Overall average for Killzone 3 = 86/100
Average of magazines with "Playstation" in their title = 95/100
The NGP is a Sony product. Don't you dare say anything non-positive about a Sony product.
Mass Effect 2 is v-synced on both X360 and PS3. There is no screen tear.
I have nothing against corridor shooters, but Alan Wake is insanely repetitive. The forest setting never changes. The enemies never change. After an hour you've seen almost everything the game has to offer.
If you don't understand why you receive disagrees for stating that this looks like Assassin's Creed then there's no point in explaining it to you.
The only COD I've played is Modern Warfare, and it took me about 16 hours on Veteran with no crosshair if I remember correctly.
If the completion time for Normal is really 5 hours, then people need to stop playing these sissy difficulties.
More value per buck? How so? Even if you buy all the DLC (which I have no interest in), the other versions are still cheaper.
1920x1080 has 2.07 megapixels.
2560x1600 has 4.1 megapixels.
The bottleneck is not your CPU/GPU but your hard drive. If you recorded 1080p60 without dropped frames you must be recording to either an SSD or a RAID.
I doubt your system can record 1600p60, Fraps or not. That's 0.7 gigabytes of video data per second. On top of running the game.
Those minimum requirements are extremely strange. It's got to run on an Xbox, so the requirements really don't make much sense.
Unfortunately they have their own online store. They only support Steam at all because it'd be silly not to considering its gigantic market share.
What are you talking about exactly?
The 7800 should be able to do 720p30. On top of that you pay a lot less for the game and get to control it with keyboard/mouse. Easy choice.
It's a simple RGB cam. No point in hacking it.
Uncompressed vs. Dolby Digital always makes me laugh. You may want to look up some double blind studies on this. Even audio experts can't tell them apart.
There is only lag in Dead Space 1 if you enable Vsync in the game options. They somehow messed this up.
Enabling Vsync through the graphics driver works fine.
What did you type this long message on? Your cell phone, or a game controller? You cant wait 40 seconds to boot into Windows, but instead you waste tons of time typing stuff without a keyboard? Uh-huh, you're a smart one.
Well, but you need to download and backup all the games you buy on GOG. Their "we're going offline" PR stunt showed that they could shut down the service at any time.
If I have to backup all my games, I might as well buy physical copies to begin with. Since I don't want that, I use Steam. I just download whatever I want to play and delete it when I'm done.
