Parents are more likely to accept that a "big" console costs money. Dad can play his sports games on it, or even play games *together* with the kids.
It's much more difficult to see this kind of value in a plastic handheld with a 3 inch screen.

I've played ME1 three times and ME2 once. If I had to pick one of these games to replay right now it would be ME1. In fact, I'll only replay ME2 when the third game is out. It's a good game, but ME1 is perfect.

Do you know why you think your version doesn't look like that? Because you didn't see it running next to the clearly superior PC version. Go back into your game and look at those shadows. Look at those textures. Yes, they really are that blurry.
"Slightly better" than your PS3 version? Unmodded GTA 4 already looks HEAPS better.

With about 22 million PS3 consoles in European households, that would give a per-console attach rate of 0.36 games. Every third PS3 owner bought one game in 2010. Does not compute.
Let's do some math with the numbers from the article:
--> 3 million PS3 consoles sold in France lifetime.
--> Attach rate of 2.8 games per console in 2010.
--> 3 million times 2.8 equals 8.4 million games sold in FRANCE in 2010
--> 8 million games total sold in "all of EUROPE" in 2010. Uh, what?
