In danger of going under? Then why didn't Crytek go under when they released Far Cry? Or Crysis? Or Crysis Warhead? These were all PC exclusive.
What do you mean dood if you mean like the CELL then yeah your right, thats much faster than any pc and gpu and so cos sony is da best and has da best games with da best graphics but some pc games also look good almost as good as killzone killzone is the best game with the best graphics of all time maybe in few years AMD can have graphics like that k chill out peace.
//That was my best impression.
Yes, but what the article suggests will obviously not work. Once you've tied the physical copy to your Steam account, you can't sell it anymore. Well, you can, but it'll be useless to whoever buys it.
And you wasted your one bubble on this comment? :-D
Arguing that photo-realism cannot be art of have style doesn't make much sense. There is an art design and set decoration category at the Oscars, you know.
Granted, it usually goes to period pieces for obvious reasons.
Best site ever. When I first discovered it, I watched for about two hours nonstop.
They are indeed both sub-HD. 360 is 1152x720, PS3 is 1024x720.
The leaked config files explain why:
//officially approved, saves 14 mb and 4 ms rsx
r_ConsoleBackbufferWidth = 1024
Note: RSX is the graphics processor in the PS3.
Extreme and possibly Maximum Extreme? Now that would be a nice twist. However, I will only believe it once screenshot proof has surfaced.
I can tell you why they want it to fail and play it down: because it's not a PS3 exclusive.
After all, everybody knows that only PS3 exclusives can be the best-looking console games, right? RIGHT?
I quoted the freaking article. Can you monkeys actually read? Digital Foundry did not pick a winner.
You do not deserve a Purple Tentacle avatar for spouting such nonsense.
Even though most cutscenes are in real-time, there is about 1GB worth of pre-rendered footage for intros and loading screens. I suppose that's the stuff that doesn't get installed.
Hey, disagree monkeys, read this:
<<There are over 32GB of video sequences stored on the Blu-ray disc, with game data accounting for around 9GB, all powered by a 20MB executable.>>
http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...
I know it's hard to swallow that your precious Blu-ray space is used up on things that should be real-time. At least Crysis 2 ...
You chose your screen name wisely. None of the nonsense you wrote is in the article.
<<In theory, the Xbox 360 game with its more refined graphics and higher performance level should emerge triumphant, but the uncapped frame-rate really impacts the quality of the visuals and even if you're not so sensitive to screen-tear, it's impossible to miss here. For its part, the PS3 is also prone to intrusive tearing, which occurs when it shifts below 30FPS - unfortunatel...
Tropico 3 on a game controller? They can't be serious.
That's not 200% zoom. If you have a 1080p display, this is how the games look. Any input signal gets upscaled to the display's native resolution, which in most cases is 1080p.
Wait, only console versions can qualify as "best looking game of 2011"? What kind of logic is that?
It looks incredible, and I love the squad tactics. Hopefully, the AI will get close to these scripted trailers.
Certainly not. But the standard frame rate of 30fps is already fairly low. So it's always good to know whether a game dips even lower than that, and if so, how frequently.
