I think the sales of the Xbone/PS4 will be doing just fine throughout 2014 and beyond. Current sales of the new systems are primarily early adopters that are super excited to get the newest tech, regardless of the fact that there aren't many games right now.
By February or March both the PS4 and Xbox One will have much more substantial games to draw new console sales, not just empty promises of things to come in another six months. I think there are a whole lot of peopl...
There's no such thing as "too much like Uncharted."
That's because the device works on Xbone, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3. For some reason the headline posted on N4G only mentions the PS4. Hmmm, I wonder why that might be.
*as of November 30th, 2013.
Funny how some people believe that a report from the month of November indicates total sales as of the day they read the report.
Sony is doing well.
Microsoft is doing well.
Fanboys are freaking out.
Can't figure out condoms at age 15.

Here's a free Xbox One!
I can understand Nintendo's marketing strategy of pushing this notion that more powerful hardware provides nothing more than "prettier visuals", but what gets me is how many gamers have latched onto this nonsense.
Obviously visuals will improve as technology improves. People like things to look really amazing and visuals are the most obvious thing to present when you're pitching a new gaming console. But it's a tad silly to pretend that there's no ...
Nintendo has terrible third-party support.
Microsoft and Sony have amazing third-party support.
Nice how pretending cross platform games simply don't exist helps to make WiiU's 2014 lineup magically look more impressive than those of the Xbone/PS4.
I'll be more than happy to pick up a system that allows me to play Destiny and The Witcher 3. Will the WiiU allow me to play Destiny and The Witcher 3?
Yes, lots of people buy these crazy things. I'd be really surprised if they get much practical use out of them though.
So much of the information is outdated before they even harvest the trees for the paper these things are printed on that they really are not much more than collector's items.
I did get some use out of my Dark Souls guide though.
It's all so confusing! Lol. The systems are all out now so they're current to me, even if I'm holding out on a purchase for a while.
The Division is looking really nice as well. 2014 is gonna be a great time.
I think the achiles heel of this game is the variety in the gameplay. One reason COD is so hugely popular is because it meets a simple formula of shoot/die/spawn.
Throwing mechs and jetpacks into the mix sounds pretty awesome in concept, but in the end that extra stuff just gets in the way of the simple shoot/die/spawn gameplay that has driven COD to overwhelming success.
I hope I'm proven wrong though. Titanfall sounds like a really good time and I...
When Destiny releases I will be buying a new console of my choice specifically to play Destiny. Destiny absolutely is a system seller. A game doesn't have to only sell one specific system to be considered a system seller.
Destiny is definitely a system seller for me. I don't really feel compelled to grab one of the new systems right now, but once Destiny drops I'm all in.
This is the game that will drag me into the current gen.
"Xbox One Game Gets Breast Physics Comically Wrong"
Yeah, totally not directed at the Xbone at all. Nice try at pretending there's no intended bias here though.
"Crytek Game Gets Breast Physics Comically Wrong" would be a much less flame-bait approach.
Nothing is more recycled than fanboys flaming what they don't like with the same tired complaints ad nauseum.
It hasn't been made yet.
If that's his fuming face I'd hate to see him bored.
Personal preference is subjective.
If you can't see that both products have value you might be a fanboy.
If you think there's only one possible correct answer to the question you definitely are a fanboy.
“there’s so much you can still do on the previous console generation. The PS3 and Xbox 360 are far from tapped out in terms of what a developer could do with them"
Funny how few seem to catch the mention of the untapped power of the Xbox 360 in this statement.
