I'm not sure Move was ever successful enough to be considred a fad. It was clearly better motion tech than the Wii offered but it never really took off.

At least Sony is apparently willing to learn from their mistakes rather than clinging to failure as if the whole world, and not their idiot CEOs, are out of touch.

Sony hasn't been talking about or pushing Move this generation whatsoever. That's called progress. Nintendo could learn a few thi...

100,000,000 sold. Less than 1% still being used (a generous estimate). The Wii is the very definition of the word fad.

I'm more than pleased with the capabilities of the Xbox One.

The idea that the PS4 will continue to be significantly more powerful than the Xbox One just makes me that much more excited about the future of this generation.

I really don't see why there has to be so much hate around N4G. If the PS4 is superior does that really mean that the Xbox One sucks? I certainly don't believe so.

Yes, there actually are people who believe that not a single additional Xbox One will sell. Ever.

These same people believe that every man woman and child in the known universe is lining up waiting to buy an infinite number of PS4s if only it were possible to manufacture additional units of this impossibly perfect piece of machinery certainly responsible for the creation of yet undiscovered galaxies.

If you have a problem accepting the fact that there are people in the world that are interested in a product that you aren't personally interested in, you might be a fanboy.

Here's a prediction: All currently available consoles will continue to sell, to actual humans. Shocking!!!

*fixed*

Fanboy community generation 7: "Blah blah blah. Little comment."

Fanboy community current generation:"Blah blah blah. Little comment."

If the fanboy community doesn't even respect their own arguments and invalidates them so often how can they expect to be respected by others and taken seriously?

Westlake's expertise is in enteratinment and TV. Mattrick was clearly out of touch. From a gaming perspective, those two leaving the company is not bad news. At worst it's irrelevant.

Considering Blair Westlake's documented credentials it seems a little silly to think that the guy is jumping ship because the Xbone is focused less on gaming. If anything that direction would have caused him to want to stay on.

There are some serious shakeups going on right now in the Xbox division and I believe we'll see a lot more changes to Microsoft's vision of the Xbox One going forward.

Truth. I don't know why so many people feel like they have to trash the Xbone in order to feel good about the PS4. I'm truly impressed by what I've seen on the Xbone and knowing the PS4 is technically superior just makes me all the more excited for gaming this generation.

Well, if what the devs say is true then this would have been 6v6 even if it were a PS4 exclusive. In that alternate reality I'd expect much the same reaction from the N4G community. Wait, no I wouldn't.

I can't play this game without mods. I loved it on 360, but after experiencing the insane variety of mods Skyrim just feels incomplete without them.

This is not a comparison of hardware, it's a comparison of two seperate versions of a software product. Is there really any surprise that the later, more fully developed version of the software product looks superior?

If only the bad fanboys would bow down and worship the good fanboys all would be peaceful and everyone would get along./s

Fanboys are b%$^&#s.

I rest easy knowing that the majority of gamers aren't N4G fanatics.

Any opportunity to bash the Xbone must be taken on N4G. There were 13 disappointments listed, Kinect was nowhere near #1, yet it's the poster child for this article.

You're forgetting the mech effect. My first thought is that it's not going to do well in Japan either, but there's something about mechs and giant robots that the Japanese seem to really go crazy for. If there were some kind of panty sniffing mini game included it'd sell billions.

Well, apparently it's impossible to achieve anything higher than 720p on a certain platform in the minds of the N4G community at large.

"If you look at the Microsoft ANNOUNCEMENT of the Xbox One, THAT WAS a train wreck if I’ve ever seen one," Vlambeer's Rami Ismail told VG247.

Somehow somebody read this quote and extracted "Xbox One IS a train wreck."

SMH

No denying the announcement was horrible, to the point of actually being entertaining to watch MS wallow in agony. But the idea that the Xbox One is currently a train wreck is totally ridiculous...

"And yes, gameplay in both versions is at full 1080p!"

Oh snap!

I feel like the monthly subscription model is aimed squarely at people that are far more dedicated to a single game than I ever will be. I tend to play tons of games in small chunks rather than focusing on one single game for weeks or months on end.

$15 a month would be a waste for someone like me. Not because the game isn't worth it, but because I simply wouldn't consume enough of the game to justify the cost.

I played the heck out them when they were originally released. I loved those games so much. Unfortunately they have aged terribly and are very difficult to get back into.
