More articles posted to N4G with the headline "So and so says such and such game close to maxing out the PS4"
"We asked Aron Cender if The Order:1886 will max out the PS4, he said no."
That pretty much sums it all up.
I've played quite a bit on Xbox One and PS4 and I'm really excited about both platforms going forward.
I suspect the reason I don't really have any glowing feelings toward the WiiU right now is because I've never actually even touched one. Once I get one I highly suspect I'm going to love it. Mario Kart is screaming at me right now and I don't think I'll be able to hold out for very long after it releases.
None of these compani...

Yeah, "Nintendo says it wants its Nintendo Network to be its own platform, separate from hardware, like Steam or PSN."
So, like I said, UNTIL it actually happens...
@DomceM
Those WiiU virtual console purchases will be good to go as long as your WiiU lasts. Once it dies I hope you enjoy jumping through hoops for Nintendo in order to prove that you own all of those games you paid good money for, but are locked to the brick they were purchased on.
Until Nintendo figures out a proper account transfer policy I won't be trumpeting their "superiority" in the area of digital distribution.
PS1 vs. SNES? Lolz. You've got your Nintendo consoles completely screwed up dude.
PS1 vs. N64
PS2 vs. Xbox vs. Gamecube
This makes for a really cool way to check out gameplay on games you haven't played yet while screwing around and actually impacting someone's gaming experience. The future of gaming just keeps getting better and better.
Reasons I find a PS4/Xbox One purchase feasable, even though I already own a PC capable of running any game on the market at High/Ultra settings:
-Friends who don't game on PC
-Exclusives
-Ease of communication
-Hassle free gaming
I love my PC, but there have been a lot of times when things simply didn't work the way they should and it turned out that, as simplified as PC gaming has become, console gaming is still so muc...
Last generation it was Sony pushing hardware that was unique to design for. The difference is that Sony has highly talented second party developers, along with loads of third party support. For some reason Nintendo has really struggled with third-party support ever since Sony jumped into the gaming business.
I'm afraid Nintendo will have to rethink their hardware strategy next time around. With game development budgets skyrocketing, it's in a console manufacturer...
I suspect Nintendo will be around long after the last "Is this the end for Nintendo?" tripe is posted on N4G. So, basically forever.
"Perhaps gamers aren’t seeking a refund, but instead some respect..."
SMH. Early adopters aren't some sort of unsung heroes. They just bought a product early on in its life cycle. They paid the asking price and received the product they were offered.
We've all been through enough product launches to know that early adoption comes with a variety of risks. In this particular case, I'd say I'd much rather have to deal with missing o...
"Even if you’re not the best runner"
But it certainly doesn't hurt if you actually are the best runner.
Jonathan Blow has been offering salty comments since the day he was born.
Agreed Mr-Dude.
Fan =/= Fanboy
Yep, totally confirmed my assumption about PS4 fanboys. I knew the inevitable response to a 1080p/60fps game on Xbox One would be something along the lines of "still looks like crap" or "that's because it looks like crap."
I'd say Nazis are the bad guys other bad guys call bad guys. Not even bad guys want to be nazis.
I'm afraid I'm probably in the same camp as you DoggyBiscuit. I've always found Nintendo's controllers to be genius when it comes to gameplay, especially the puzzling N64 gamepad.
In truth, I fear all of my Nintendo hate as of late is born of ignorance more than anything else. I'm beginning to feel this little bit of an urge to grab one. Blast you Mario Kart!
Your clumsy got really comment at the end there.
I gotta LOL at all the commenters that didn't even know what 1080p was six months ago and now they're all experts on how impossible it is to achieve on specific hardware.
Noone on these boards has any experience coding for either the PS4 or the Xbox One, but somehow looking at the performance of a few launch titles is all it takes to know everything there is to know about both systems' capabilities.
