In the works? Destiny 2, 3, and 4 are already complete just sitting on some hard drive somewhere.
Yet another 5 seconds of "gameplay" that gets completely blown out of proportion by idiot bloggers.
I can't see wanting to use Share Play for the multiplayer. Clearly that'd make for a really crappy experience. It would be nice to be able to let my friends check out the single player though, if ony to get a bit of a feel for the exo abilities.
My PS4 digital day zero edition isn't allowing me to play it. I've read that I may need to delete and re-download. I guess I may be able to play the Day Zero edition some time by day two.
"It was started because Zoe Quinn got caught sleeping around like a whore to "promote" her 'game'.
I don't see how there's a problem with a developer doing whatever it takes to get their game promoted. Shouldn't the problem really be the supposed journalists agreeing to offer biased analysis in trade for services rendered?
It's not the developer's job to keep the gaming press honest, so why is the developer being...
@ShadowKing
You keep using that word, sarcasm. I do not think it means what you think it means.
I can't see how anyone could watch that video and come away believing Colbert was in any way attacking or even being confrontational toward this chick. I don't think you have to be a feminist to see that, just watch the video.
He was clearly mocking her opposition through the entire segment. Apparently some people have difficulty grasping even the most blatant sarcasm.
Soccer is the most popular sport on the planet and all it requires is an object to kick around. Simply keeping people entertained isn't a huge achievement.
It's not about the price not being justified because of the lack of content compared to other games. It's a matter of the price not being justified because of the content compared to Bungie's promises.
If I offered you a steak dinner for $10 and you ended up with a ham sandwich would you say "hey, I've seen ham sandwiches that cost more than $10 so it's perfectly fine"?
Bungie publicly aspired to the story in Destiny being ep...
Aren't you assuming that everyone who owns a PS4 currently owns a copy of all three Uncharted games?
I suspect there are plenty of people that would like to play the series that don't have all three games sitting on their shelf right now.
"Murder for the sake of murder."
As opposed to what? All the far more honorable motivations behind "murder" in GTA?
People seem to think it's perfectly fine to kill, rape, and torture as long as it's wrapped in a package that allows them to pretend they're doing something more desirable.
If anything I look at this game as a commentary on what every other game that includes "killing" truly is at ...
I think it'd be great if you unlocked the platinum trophy by simply killing yourself without doing anything else in the game.
"what is the point of making a game like this?"
I've heard that question about lots of games ranging from Mortal Kombat to Surgeon Simulator. It doesn't matter if you see the point. It really doesn't
@HumanAfterAll
Also 13 letters in your name.
1 x 3 = 3
There's no denying it now.
You have 3 bubbles. Half Life 3 confirmed!
I've never understood Souls fans skipping this and waiting for Bloodborne. As a souls fan I'm stoked to play this now and Bloodborne when it comes out. I really don't understand why it has to be one or the other.
Most open world games have so much side content to provide fun experiences that will hopefully make up for the lacking core storyline.
In that respect I can understand the notion that linear story games with crappy stories will suffer in the modern marketplace. Bring a great story and you don't need the fluff. Bring a crappy story and it better be an open world game or you're going to have a rough time.
I totally see what the dev means. It's kind of like how "choose your own adventure" books totally replaced standard linear novels back in the '90s. Oh wait. Never mind.
Maybe the people that are "so hyped for this game" are very interested in the multiplayer and would love to run through the campaigns again.
Add in the fact that all of this can be done on their shiny new Xbox Ones with integrated multiplayer across all four games and it doesn't take a lot of detective work to figure out why a lot of people might be hyped for this collection.
What I don't understand is why people have trouble understandi...
Just goes to show you that the new consoles, and gaming PCs for that matter, aren't just about better graphics. There's far more to be achieved with improved hardware than simply increased visual fidelity.
