It seems like it should have been priced similarly to the downloadable releases you see from developers such as Telltale Games. They offer similarly short games with limited interaction and a focus on story, and they also don't charge $60 for them. Sony probably should have released The Order as a $15-$20 downloadable game, I doubt people would have felt as ripped-off if that had been the case.

I think it's a similar situation to Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, but e...

I would love to see a collection of the three Modern Warfare games. I thought all of them were great but Modern Warfare 3 was my personal favorite.

When you take all the DLC into account, a collection of MW1/MW2/MW3 would provide a huge amount of content. The three single player campaigns, huge amount of co-op missions and all the multiplayer maps? I'd buy it instantly.

I'll always take framerate over resolution, because it's much more crucial to gameplay than resolution ever will be.

Having said that however, I'll also avoid any EA games for a long while. BF4 was broken for a long time and ended up being all about the DLC, a trend that looks to continue with Hardline and the Star Wars game as well.

Sad to see so many people lacking compassion.

@Naga

Thanks for the recommendation but I don't have an Xbox One, so I can't play those games. My only console right now is a PS4 so my options are pretty limited. I don't know why that Chevalier guy had to go on a fanboy rant about sales figures for GT either, but whatever, trolls gotta troll I guess.

For me personally though, I can't really see myself getting excited about any future racing games unless they're Burnout or Wipeout (a trul...

They're all the same.

Each game has all the same cars, all the same tracks... What's the difference? Drive a Nissan GTR round the Nurburgring in PCARS/FM/GT, there's barely any difference.

Realism is the worst thing to happen to racing games, in my opinion.

I think GT3 was the best game in the franchise, because it's the last one that was genuinely fun and enjoyable to play.

With GT4 and onwards, Polyphony Digital have become obsessed with realism and it's just sucked all enjoyment out of the game for me. They've been focusing on all the wrong things with that franchise and the games have suffered a lot because of it.

It's a problem with the racing genre as a whole, really. All these developers o...

I'd be overjoyed if they ported Sunset Overdrive to the PS4 sometime, I've been dying to play that game. As far as I know Insomniac owns the rights to the IP, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the announcement of a port at E3. If not, I hope they put it up on Steam at least.

To be honest, I feel like Japanese developers are the only ones that we can truly count on to deliver good games these days, because the vast majority of Western games are soulless, derivative, dumbed-down DLC cash grabs.

From Software, Kojima Productions, Platinum Games, Nintendo etc. are all consistently releasing good quality games with expertly crafted gameplay mechanics, plentiful content and heck, these developers even know how to actually design fun and engaging bossfi...

Smart move by Microsoft. Keeping their games off Windows all this time will have lost them a lot of money, and it looks like Phil Spencer has wised-up to this fact. He probably noticed the third party Xbox exclusives selling well on PC and not affecting Xbox sales at all (e.g. Titanfall) so he's doing the smart thing.

Xbox exclusives coming to PC won't hurt Xbox, it's just extra sales for Microsoft.

The thing I don't get is if Sony believes in free-to-play, why did they lock multiplayer gaming behind the PS+ paywall with the PS4?

I think there's a strong possibility of Dishonored 2 being announced at E3 (at least I hope so, anyways) and if Dishonored was pulled from PS+ at the last minute, it could be for something as simple as marketing reasons.

I imagine they could have wanted Dishonored to come to PS+ later in the year perhaps, when it's timed better to offer some kind of promotion for the sequel? So for example, they announce Dishonored 2 and then the original game goes up on PS+ around th...

Yeah, I'd buy Forza if it released on Steam, provided Microsoft didn't force any DX12 requirements and restrict it to Windows 10 only. Same goes for Forza horizon as well. They look like genuinely fun racing games and if they put them on PC they'll be seeing money from me :)

I'm hoping for a sequel to Dishonored personally, that would be the highlight of E3 for me if it was announced.

It seems that Platinum Games releases their stuff on every console except the one that I own! first Bayonetta 2 for the Wii U and now Scalebound for Xbox. I shouldn't complain really since I'll get to play Bloodborne soon, but I really do envy Xbox owners since Scalebound will probably be a fantastic game.

I've noticed a lot of these so-called insiders always make very safe predictions that are pretty much common sense for anyone who follows the news or release trends of publishers.

We know Bethesda is holding their first ever conference at E3. We also know that they alternate between RPG franchises, going from Elder Scrolls to Fallout and back again. Adding what we know together and concluding that they're highly likely to announce Fallout 4 doesn't make you an ins...

Yeah, looks incredible. It's nice to see some developers still put in the time and effort to deliver proper boss battles these days. Sure as hell beats the stupid QTEs that have come to plague Western game design.

Looks like Bloodborne and Metal Gear Solid V will deliver, at least. Can't wait to play them.

Why would Rockstar need to continue the story of RDR if they made a sequel? All the GTA games have their own stories and are standalone. I don't see why a sequel to RDR wouldn't have entirely new characters etc. as well.

The head of TakeTwo (I think?) said at their last investors meeting that they want to turn Red Dead Redemption into a franchise because the game far exceeded their expectations. I expect that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be Rockstar's next game following GTA5, but I also expect that we won't hear anything about it for another two or three years yet since Rockstar like to take their time.

How was he wrong? He said Xur would be selling Universal Remote and Heart of Praxic Fire, which he is. The guy was right.

If you're thinking of the Thunderlord & Hard Light inventories, he said that those weren't for this week and next. He only highlighted them because they'd never been sold before and he was just confirming that they will be going up for sale eventually. His prediction for this week was correct. He was also correct last week as well, and corr...
