Playing video games is not labor. People who say that it is sound like fools.
Competitive gaming is different. Playing a single player campaign is not a job or a career or even something that you should be compensated for.
Well, I have personally been having a blast with the game. The new masters are fun and different than the old ones. Sure, there could be more, but what is there is solid. Just because it isn't bigger than the first doesn't mean that it isn't good.
You also might want to make sure that you have Open NAT. It seems like that fixed my chat issues.
@DragonKnight
Not only is my argument valid, but your comparison to 80 years of broadcasting is both invalid and asinine. Surely even you can tell the difference between television program production and some kid hooking his console up to a capture card and playing a video game.
If you tried uploading either a tv show or a tv show with you commenting on it, chances are you'll get a copyright violation and have your video removed. Why is it different for somebody play...
Wow, CrossingEden - you talk about pay-to-let's-play-gamers like they are doing something useful for society like brain surgery or sweeping a street. I'm going to put this in caps so it's quite legible:
THEY ONLY PLAY VIDEO GAMES.
They did not design any video games. They did not market or sell any video games. They did nothing other than buy a game and capture/edit their gameplay and commentary. They don't even play competitively (which is somethin...
Wow... Do you guys really think that the NSA are a bunch of bumbling fools hunched over a computer in D.C.? Wake up. It's 2013 and the best hackers in the world aren't in their parent's basement - they're contracted by government agencies.
@Arturo84
"because are large group of the new console owners are kids and tweens who kicked and screamed until they got the new consoles from their families and have no prior research(or interest to do so)on what each new console can and cant do."
Ohhh HELL no! See, Xbox owners had to endure a generation of PS fanboys saying that kids and tweens were on LIVE because the console was less expensive. That doesn't fly anymore when PS4 is 100 bucks c...
Mine lags a bit - it's not horrible, but it's definitely noticeable. They need a task manager or something.
@FlunkinMonkey
"Polygon count was lowered from 150,000 to 85,000 and the resolution was downgraded from 1080p to 900p."
...and the game STILL looked better at launch than at E3, proving once again that polygon count and resolution do not trump good art direction and design.
Unfortunately, Ryse doesn't play anywhere near as good as it looks.
Every day that I don't hear that Criterion is making a sequel to Black, my soul dies a little bit more.
@Godmars290
No, it doesn't come off either of those ways. Sony has a great system in Gracenote. It's better for Microsoft to license it than try to reinvent the wheel. Can't you ever just leave your fanboy rhetoric at the door?
The beta? I thought we were still in beta?
OMG YES!!! And dat art style... If they pulled this off correctly, it could be amazing.
I hope they make an in-game party system - actually, I'd like to see it on all next-gen games. I don't have KZ (or a PS4 yet, for that matter), but the whole "party system at an OS level" doesn't work very well for me on the Xbox One side of things. It's kind of annoying to be on different teams and have to switch or try to follow a party mate into a full room. Sad to say, the only game with a dedicated party that I have is COD.
Anyway, do it GG!
It's bad for people that like to whine about something where this isn't anything else to whine about lol
@4Sh0w
Apparently you've never heard about Divekick before. It's kind of a big deal in the fighting game community.
Probably not enough time. It's quite obvious that BF4 was rushed to make launch for next gen consoles. Plus, tools will be optimized for both consoles next go around.
@mrmarx
Is that why BF4 is 900p on PS4 and 720p on Xbox One? Because EA is in bed with Microsoft?
I want some of your drugs.
@Maddens Raiders
Yes, because the sales of a game on a console with an install base of just over a million should really be compared to a similar game releasing on a console of over 80 million users.
I can't wait for your insightful and PERSONAL analysis.
And they're not going to upload anymore because they're not going to be paid for it. The whole "love of gaming" argument is officially out the window. These people just wanted to make money and they're being exposed as the sellouts that they are.
