The Last of Us did nothing new and yet was still one of the best games of its generation. Sometimes taking old concepts and assembling them in a different, yet harmonious way can yield great results.
There are people who think that 720p means that it looks like the last gen versions. They willfully ignore 60FPS and additional effects.
You cannot help or argue with these people.
I have to say that with all of the talk surrounding graphics, aspect ratios and resolution, people are ignoring the audio. That audio mix sounds AMAZING, even on my phone. The dampening and echo effects are among the best I've heard on a game. That part where they are looking at the gun in the basement - it SOUNDS like they're in a basement. What you ears hear can immerse you just as much as, if not more than, what you see onscreen.
It's Maria. Would you expect any less?
By "everyone" do you mean "the hardcore elite internet warriors"? Because COD still sells boatloads, even if it is on a downswing.
Yeah, especially since it runs at 0p, 0FPS on PS4.
It's funny - Sony fanboys can't fathom physics simulations or other non-graphical tasks being handled by the cloud, yet expect Playstation Now to push ENTIRE GAMES without lag.
I'd rather see a remake of IV or VI. Much better plots.
@TheFallenAngel
"The parkour doesn't work that good."
Translation: "I don't know how to properly use the parkour mechanic."
@Septic
There is no single game that could be released on any console that could be a "knockout blow". That's not how gaming works.
@DevilishSix
"My experience is its a casual game."
Your experience? Judging by your comment history of trolling Titanfall and Microsoft-related articles, your experience equates to hating on the game because it's not on PS4. Which means nothing to anybody.
@ssj27
What an "insightful" "comment".
Ummmm spoiler alert for title? It's an older game, but still.
Maybe if Telltale Games is making it?
@-Foxtrot
"How can something look great when we haven't seen a glimpse of gameplay
The only thing we've seen is a CGI trailer."
I dunno... Sony fans were allowed to get excited by The Order's CGI trailer and lack of gameplay without people questioning them. Have the rules changed?
Does Phil Fish cry at 60 tears per second?
Counter-Strike was the most played online game on the OG Xbox besides Halo 2 until the day Microsoft pulled the plug on LIVE.
Just. Stop.
Edit: It sold 1.5 million if you need an exact figure. http://www.shacknews.com/ar...
@dedicatedtogamers
Counter-Strike is one of the most popular games in history, is multiplayer-only, and is still played today - over a decade after its original release.
Your point is invalid.
Maybe they'll go crazy like Capcom and release "Heavenly Sword: The Movie: The Game".
Also, a previous article by the author from a few weeks ago:

The very first thing in the article... "I admit to being a Sony fanboy, but my level of professionalism helps to counter that love. Staying neutral is a difficult task sometimes."
So, yeah, this guy is a great source for an opinion on Titanfall.
