@2.4 yep MS keeps trying to force silver members to pay for Gold. Like not letting us play our games online isn't bad enough. Then they made us wait for demos, only having sales for gold members and now offering a free game for gold members. But I don't give a damn what they do. I'll never pay to play online unless MS wants to get into the ISP business.
As long as the single player holds up no one is going to mark it down for an average multiplayer. Its roots are as a single player game. I don't think I saw any reviewers knock down MGS4 for their multiplayer and I believe the same will happen here. If it isn't any good they'll just say the multiplayer feels tacked on and leave it at that. Personally I don't give a crap about multiplayer either but I would love co-op.

SCEA is being incredibly tight-fisted when it comes to dropping the prices to "Greatest Hits" in the US. Uncharted, Heavenly Sword(approaching 2 years old), Folklore, Ratchet and Clank all still officially retail for $60 and MGS 4 for $50.

Dry those tears son. I had no idea that last week marked the Wii's lowest weekly sales in Japan since launch. If that has been mentioned before in another article on N4G please link me to it. So at the very least it brought a new perspective on just how bad Wii sales in Japan have gotten. PS3 sales are slightly below 2008 levels in Japan while 360 sales are actually up year over year. So the sad sales of the Wii can't be blamed on the economy. Quit crying and suck it up. Wii is losing ...
Business is about growth and there were plenty of and still are PS3 is dying articles. But when Wii sales in Japan have dropped 60% frickin' percent year over year (and continue to drop) those are beyond death numbers for a product. PS3 costs twice as much as a Wii and in a sh!tty economy are only down about 15% year over year in Japan. The article is valid and you should just stop whining.
Monster hunter has only sold ridiculous numbers on the PSP. The games on PS2 sold pretty good (slightly over 1m units I think) but nothing like what the PSP games have done. It might be a series that only does great on portables like Pokemon. Sales of the Wii version will show whether the success on the PSP can translate into a console hit.
Considering Vizio is the top selling lcd brand in the US it doesn't look like Americans care about quality.
I wouldn't own Nintendo shares right now. The possible upside is limited. I mean how many people think Wii sales are all of a sudden going to explode higher? How many people think Wii sales could drop off a cliff? Much bigger chance of them dropping off a cliff. And even if they don't there is no guarantee that Nintendo's next system will sell like the Wii has since every generation is different.
I saw a few commercials for Madworld so Sega did advertise. But his point is valid. Wii is for chicks, kids or guys who want to play games with their girl. All you have to do is look at the top 10 selling games on Wii at Amazon.com.

Actually these systems are not repaired by Microsoft. They are repaired by a 3rd party. MS won't back the 3 year warranty on these because in their eyes they have been tampered with. @4.1 I think if you look at 1st party games that score higher then 80 you'll find many more on PS3. Unless you only consider a game good if it scores 90 or higher. Which I think is ridiculous.
How is inventory management easier on the 360 in split screen co-op? I would think they would be the same... Maybe but Dell has been running this offer for $320 for a couple of months now(as well as all the 360 models for 20% off). But this is the first time they have dropped it as low as $300.
