@4.3 No company offer a direct deposit for a mail-in rebate that's just stupid. MS doesn't even handle the rebates. They pay a 3rd party rebate company to do the work for them as all companies do. I don't know anyone that has a Wii hooked up for online. None of them even know how to do it. Good thing for Nintendo that their online is junk I guess. Less systems affected by this.

You greatly underestimate the popularity of the Final Fantasy series around the rest of the world. Sales are usually split more like 35% Japan, 30% US and 30% Europe. FF10 sold around 8 million copies, 3 mill in Japan, 2.5 mill in the US and 2.5 mill in Europe. Peter Moore (when he was still with MS) was asked back in 2k7 E3 which franchise he would like to see on the 360. I honestly can't believe Sony is going to release something that looks like that to the gaming public. It looks like a wand from an anime magic girl show... Does the bulb really need to be that big? And couldn't they have at least encased it in a clear plastic cover or something?
I own all 4 gaming platforms but if I could only choose 2 I'd lean towards PS3 and PC. There really isn't much on the 360 that won't eventually show up on PC or PS3 except for maybe Halo 3 and Gears of War 2. Even those will show up eventually but will take 2 or 3 years. Wii would probably come in third.
Those people who say it was because it was bundled are way off. Sony was charging $100 more for Uncharted and 80gb extra disk space. Whoever bought the Uncharted bundle were essentially paying full price for Uncharted. Because I don't think anyone would play $100 more for just 80 gb.
The review is poorly written. I think its just a teenager who downloaded it illegally and is stupid enough to write a review and bring attention to his illegal activities. That said, he probably has played the game and this review is his honest opinion on it.
They probably have the computer hooked up to a Microsoft wireless receiver. When you play pc games with a 360 controller it changes all the onscreen button icons for you.

1. Incredible, yes but you can actually hook computers up to big screen tvs these days. I have mine hooked up to my 46" sharp lcd via hdmi.
2. Microsoft sells a $20 wireless receiver for their 360 controller for use with PCs. So when I play 3rd person action games (they really don't work well with keyboard and mouse) I do not need to use a keyboar...

The Dreamcast had great games and was the first console to offer online gaming out of the box. It died because Sega didn't have the money to support it any longer. Games in Japan are not priced like they are in the US. They pretty much have a different price for every game unlike the US which has a flat $60 suggested retail price. I believe Star Ocean 4 was sold at close to the same price.
Devs are just making themselves look like whiners. If you want more money lower the fricking prices of your games quicker. Most gamers wouldn't mind paying $5 to $10 more then the used game prices for new games. But when companies keep the new game prices at ridiculous levels it makes absolutely no sense to buy it new. It's a shame Persona 4 didn't sell better in the US. Sure the dungeons were a bit bland but overall the game was one of my favorite rpgs of all time.
