How exactly was L4D new and fresh? Because no one had the balls to release a full retail game that only lasted 3 to 4 hours in the past? I still don't get it...
PS3 Price cuts rumors started as early as March of last year 7 month after their first price cut. Everyone at this point should be in "I'll believe it when I see it" mode.
Really looking forward to this IF it comes in at $20 or lower. I'm not willing to pay $30 like the previewer is.
Its almost a foregone conclusion that Sony will cut the price of the PS3 in the Fall. I mean they plan to sell 30% more PS3's this fiscal year(from 10 mill to 13 mill). No other way you can achieve that kind of increase unless they are factoring in greater demand from a price cut.
WTF? Amazon has free shipping on every game over $25 and tax free in like 45 states. How did this even get approved.
They better not forgot to include 4 player split screen. Otherwise I'm pretty much sold.
I honestly can't believe how well Left 4 Dead sold and was reviewed. I played it once in co-op with a friend (it took us 3-4 hours to finish) and never felt the need to pick it up again. This game was ridiculously short, running on a engine that dates back to the 20th century. But everyone kept gushing all over it. I never understood it, especially when some gaming outlets nominated it for game of the year. I was left speechless. I thought it was a decent rental and nothing more. Valve...
LOL Resorting to name calling huh? Very mature and you topped it off with a mighty STFU? I'm terrified, those big capital letters are so intimidating. First off, yeah Nintendo's conference last year was complete garbage which is why I said every other year, boy genius.
Wow!!! A multiplayer 2d Mario game! Complete with DS/SNES graphics, gameplay from the SNES days, non-existent story and probably no voice work besides "itsa me Mario!". Its basically a flash game bei...
I love how Nintendo trots out the same old tired sh!t every other year and these old G video game editors get nostalgic and go ape sh!t over it. I mean really Garnett Lee? A B+ for Nintendo and a C for Sony?
@2.1 I couldn't agree more. With this tool set someone could potential create a better looking and playing Mario Kart (HD graphics and with out the cheap fake rubberband AI). I am really excited about this game.
It could have just been an error when cutting the footage together. Last year they showed Valkyria Chronicles during the PSP montage as well.
Actually this is what happens when one company is sad enough to pay 3rd parties for exclusive game announcements. It happened with Lost Planet 2 and now they are doing it with this game. It really is quite sad and its just a ploy for media attention.
It has a memory stick micro slot.
yeah this guy past pitiful 50 miles ago.
This game certainly impressed me. I've been dying for a mario kart type game with HD graphics and without the ridiculously cheap AI. But I think it will sell better if it was renamed Sony Nation Racers. Then include premade Sony characters racing around Sony game themed tracks.
His statement could be true. He didn't say good third party publishers or developers. I think you are much more likely to get decent sales from a POS game on the Wii then the 360 or PS3. I can see mediocre to crappy third parties flowing to the Wii like lemmings. Not something I'd brag about but hey what else is he going to say?
16gb of flash memory isn't cheap. Its going to cost as much if not more then the PSP-3000 (PSP-3000 with a 16 gb stick is about $250). So those of you expecting Sony to give it away might as well start shopping for something else.
Yeah that what I find funny. You hear these people always asking for 2 analog sticks. But fps's suck on a handheld. You have a tiny screen that lags with subpar graphics and controls. Leave FPS to the consoles and computers.
Did he say 3.8" screen? Isn't the current psp a 4.3" screen? That would be strange if they actually shrunk it.
Well if they get desperate enough all they have to do is change the name and make the story elements generic and someone will pick it up I'm sure.
