The game is probably coming to PS3 but does it really matter? It obvious that EA signed a money bag deal with MS for timed exclusivity which is why they can't talk about the PS3 version. Just get it on PC. If you have a dual core and a $60 graphics card it will run and play better then on either console.
I love how these CEO's are always trying to shove consumers into digital downloads so they can cut out the middle man and used game sales. But honestly these guys are just kidding themselves. Unless they start selling the digital version at a decent discount (20% to 30%) they'll never get things their way. Just look at those persona 3 sales on the PSP in Japan. The umd version outsold the psn version 11 to 1 was it? And the PSP3k outsells the PSPGo 7 to 1 on a weekly basis. When people ...
@1.4 Yes because the RROD is always caused by the exact same problem in the exact same spot and they can all be fixed exactly the same way. There is obviously 0% variance in how a general hardware failure occurs. Get a clue kid. It is 4 years later and MS still doesn't have the problem completely solved. MS has invested over 20 billion dollars on the Xbox division since it started and spent over 1 billion repairing broken consoles. But its only money right they don't want to solve the pr...
Not sure why you would want to use a gamepad for this game as the first one controlled so much better with keyboard and mouse but none of the box arts shows the "Games for Windows" logo. It will probably still work with the 360 controller but the button prompts just wont match up.
I'd be interested to hear where you got that data. But not sure what that has to do with anything I said. Okami was a quick and dirty port that was released as a budget title on the Wii. There was very little risk in it for Capcom as was the case with RE4. But if you are happy with budget ports from the PS2 then you're good to go I guess. However if you look at some of the highest rated original 3rd party Wii titles such as MadWorld, No More Heroes, Zack and Wiki, Dead Space, Conduit and ...
Publishers aren't stupid. If there was a correlation between highly rated titles and sales on the Wii they would take their time and make better titles. But the Wii audience picks up trash at random so why not just piss out more trash and hope you get lucky.
These recommended specs are nothing compared to what Dragon Age needed. Wonder why they are so different.
The formula he uses to get clicks is simple. Mention a Playstation product or service and include a Xbox product or service in the same title. The sad thing is, the fanboys fall for it every frickin' time.
Its a shame that dozens of well-written, thought provoking articles are ignored on a daily basis at N4G. While this barely comprehensible clown gets clicks by using the same tired flame bait titles to get attention.
I hope they win as well. I might even get one of these to back up saves etc. But I'm sure as hell not paying $40 for one of MS's 512mb cards.
This is probably why Sony took the OtherOS option out of the Slim. Research facilities were probably buying a ton of ps3s. So Sony was actually subsidizing everybody's research. Because these systems were never going to be used to buy games or blu-ray movies where Sony could actually make some of the money back.
A 5 for Dragon Age is laughable. Its probably one of the best gaming experience I've had this year. I'm 80 hours in and still haven't finished it. Just taking my time and enjoying all the game has to offer. And a 9 for L4D2? Ok whatevers...
sigh... L4D 2? Really? Better then Dragon Age, Demon's Souls and Killzone 2? But I guess this is something voted on by the masses. So COD 6 will win everyone else can go home.
Uh, Shadow of the Colossus is dirt cheap (available at Amazon new for $18.50). It's a Greatest Hits title. Any title that becomes a Greatest Hits is rarely in short supply. Now ICO on the other hand is much harder to find especially new and that will cost more.
Really? I can play my games on my system using my ISP for 3 whole days?! Pass, I'll continue to get my multiplat games on PC or PS3 where I can play them any time I want.
I agree there is so much depth in Dragon Age it really makes other games seem shallow. But they are two very different games. If you just wanna run around and shoot people all day with your friends its modern warfare. If you want a deep and engrossing, story driven single player experience that's Dragon Age.
Not bad but I would have preferred just a $100 gift cert like they were giving with the 360 arcade a couple of weeks ago.
Character models are great. Some of the best I've seen in a western developed RPG. But some of the texture work is horrid. Yes even on the PC.
I believe the bannings made it to more main stream sites like cnet and yahoo where there are a lot of readers who don't know much about what's going on in video games. I remember when I sold a few Wii's a couple of years ago. The buyer's honestly knew nothing. They didn't know the Wii couldn't do HD or doesn't come with a hard drive. All they knew was that it was popular from hearing it on the news or a website.
I believe edge and eurogamer gave GOW I and II 7's the first time around. They might go even lower with a remake.
Just curious but how did it do in comparison to the Wii and 360?
