Three minutes, fifty-one seconds. One of my friends and I had a contest to see who could beat the 11th level the fastest.
Hardly a fair comparison...different shots, different angles. And really, who gives a damn about minor differences between the two versions of the game? Only fanboys.

Proclamations of the PS3's imminent death, as the tail of this article implies, are far too early.
Has the PS3 lived up to expectations? Not so far, but it's been less than a year, and we will not have any idea of the impact the price drop/cheaper models will have for a few more weeks.
The 360 is doing well, and I suspect that it will carry that momentum into Christmas and beyond, boosted by the Halo effect, a great holiday bundle, and a killer lineup of games.

I'm going to stay away from the whole 360 versus PS3 p!ssing contest that this talkback has become. (Yes, I'm glad the 360 is doing well, but I'm not going to lose sleep if it doesn't).
Instead, I'm noting how the PS2 is STILL one of the best-selling systems month-to-month, with its Madden 08 in the top four (against some pretty heavy competition).

I think part of the reason it sold so well is due to the dearth of RPGs on the 360. There just aren't that many of them (though Oblivion is two or three games worth of greatness in one package).
Glitches aside, it's not a bad game. I'd give it a 6.5 out of 10.
Pretty funny, considering that's what my young son says when I turn on the system. He's also seen two red rings (out of my five total consoles).
The 360's hardware problems are well-documented to the nth degree, but I do have to say this...a working 360 is an impressive piece of hardware, with some fantastic games, and the best online service out there.
Absolutely PERFECT for the Wii. The more people play this, the more appreciation that this criminally underrated title will receive.

It's a good enough game, but it's poor consolation for the loss of Monster Hunter 3.
It takes a big man to admit he's been outdone by a competitor.
Here's my advice for him: Look at what you like from Forza, and then TOP IT with your own game.
Then Forza 3 should try to top THAT.
Nothing like a little one-upsmanship to encourage competition and thus, better games.

Well, achievements are gaming crack. Anyone with a 360 knows what I'm talking about.
This guy, tho, is a total achievement crack whore...makes one of my friends, who plays nearly anything (including Surf's Up) to increase his score, look like a total amateur.
Still impressive, though.
Halo 3, an M-rated game? Let's look at it this way:
--Language is no worse than a mainstream sitcom
--The "blood and gore" is minimal; this ain't Manhunt or Dead Rising, for comparison. Most of the enemy blood looks like Kool-Aid.
Truthfully, I've played T-rated titles that were more deserving of an M-rating than Halo 3.
Now, the online mode earns a definite M-rating, if only for the idiotic 12-year-olds spewing racist gar...
This was a surprise hit for the 360, and the Wii's controls are perfectly suited for it. I smell a hit.
