ANYONE HAVE A SPARE TIME MACHINE?!?
Still the best, and worth every dime.
In simple, rhetoric-free terms...they're both GREAT games. Enjoy, folks.
This officially qualifies as a "no s#it, Sherlock." Just a matter of making it official.
Next-gen GoW? Should be interesting...and will probably go head-to-head with another GoW, "emerging" about the same time.
My money's on Hillary and her severing-nards move! :)
That Best Buy/CoD 4 wireless headset deal is good in-store, as well.
It's an ugly tactic, but it works more often than it doesn't. I've done it here and there to take down a camper or a spawn-killer...including the time I stuck a spawn-point camper at point-blank range and ended his Rampage...he cursed me for the rest of the match.
But he stopped camping.
However, comparing suicide tactics in a video game to suicide bombing shows a gross ignorance of the real-world. The complexities of the situation do not lend themselves well to...
You pwned his @ss.
He was out of order and being very ignorant.
Bubbles for you.
Hardly a fair comparison...although they may be shooting for the same market, the 40GB is over $100 more than the Arcade, but has far more features than the gimped Arcade bundle.
A better comparison would be the 360 Pro and the 40GB PS3...closer in price and features.
Agree? Disagree? Tell me why.
That's a shame...one would have expected it to approach the length of the original CoD games.
BUT, if online play is as good as the Beta showed, then I suspect people will spend far more time pwning people online than on the campaign mode. And they won't mind.
This may give Halo 3 a run for its money when it comes to a great online experience.
Great. Whatever.
Can we all just STFU when it comes to graphical comparisons? Can we all just stop these p!ssing contests and ENJOY OUR GAMES?!?
D'OH!!!
Consumers.
Good list...and I'm thrilled he mentioned Star Tropics.
I'd also include Blaster Master and R-Type.
Well, at least we finally get to hear the other side of the story
And after reading it, I say:
The reviewer is still wrong.
He's entitled to his opinion, but he did not back it up very well.
Damage control...and a loss of respect.
Other than the loss of people's jobs--always bad--I could care less if Blockbuster goes under. Their monolithic corporate culture and blind focus on just new releases has killed any chance they had of connecting with a broader base, which is where Netflix comes in.
I've had Netflix for four years, and only once did they not have a DVD I was looking for (but they later added it). I gave up on Blockbuster when I came in looking for foreign films...and the store I went to, the lar...
Which is why the first three games I buy when I get a Wii after Christmas will be Zelda: TP, Metroid Prime 3...and Mario Galaxy. Hard to find a threesome of games for consoles that beats those three...and this, from a 360 owner and someone who's owned nearly every system since Atari.
(BTW, my 20,000th N4G point)
Pretty much a given...I mean, Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Donkey Kong, etc. are basically icons of the industry.
So far for the Wii:
1st party games: Mostly good.
3rd party games: Mostly bad. (There are exceptions)
Lazy devs? Bad ports?
I think companies weren't prepared for the runaway success of the Wii, and rushed out bad ports to quickly capitalize on the system's popularity. That's a shame, because in the midst of all the garbage, a few gems like Rayman, Elebits, and Zack and Wiki have less chance to stand out.
