For the record, I think Gamespot is being overly harsh. The game has a few minor flaws, but not enough to merit a 7.5.
Throw in Master Chief and Kratos...total gamergasm. :)

For just $70 more, you get more than enough room for gamesaves and the occasional download, plus component cables and everything needed to get started on Xbox Live...

Well, better than the Marine AI in Halo 3. I swear, they've killed me more often than the Covenant.
Quickstrike and lynx1halo have it right: AI should quickly adapt, act impulsively, and learn on the fly. That should apply to both friends and enemies.
