Concerning fanboys and their ignorance:
"The Argument from Intimidation is a confession of intellectual impotence."
--Ayn Rand (1905 - 1982), The Virtue of Selfishness, 1964
"The thing I hate about an argument is that it always interrupts a discussion."
--G. K. Chesterton (1874 - 1936)
"No matter what side of the argument you are on, you always find people on your side that you wish were on the other."
Good list...but where's Kameo? Or Viva Pinata: Party Animals? (Yeah, it's not great, but it's a fun, casual co-op game).
And don't forget Lego Star Wars/Indiana Jones, or Fuzion Frenzy.
Or any of the myriad arcade games (Pac-Man, UNO, etc.)
Next up: Guns and Roses releases "Chinese Democracy."
If you haven't tried Okami, you should...one of the most brilliant games of the past few years. Give me that instead of the latest sequel or overhyped drink coaster.
The reviews have been a little mixed, but I don't think that will hurt sales one tiny bit.
Looking forward to sore thumbs.
Will they put it in Home...?
PS3 owners, what do you think? If this is how they keep Home free, will you welcome it?
I'd love it if it was like Zack and Wiki in terms of quality (awesome) and not in terms of sales (disappointing).
Capcom, give this title some advertising love.
Well, maybe they need to learn to talk to each other...imagine the fun of cross-platform pwnage. Sony and MS fanboys could beat the stuffing out of each other as much as they want, without polluting forum space.
And that would be great for other reasons...I would love to be able to play with/against my PS3-owning friends.
LOL at our disagrees. :)
*yawn*
Excuse me while I go play some Halo 3, Wii Bowling, and Warhawk.
To Governor Rick Perry:
See you there.
They might...but they'll have some competition. I'm sure there are others who will be willing to sign him up.
Give this guy his own studio and see what happens.
The price match with Wal-Mart only applies if the nearest Wal-Mart actually has the PS3 in stock, which must be verified with a phone call. If not, no deal.
There is a $50 gift card given instantly if you purchase GTAIV and any 360 unit. That's an advertised deal.
Hope that clears things up a bit.
LOVE that Kirby picture...I'll never look at him the same way again!
Some stores in larger markets...San Diego was one, I believe...were taking in used games on a trial basis, to see if it was a viable market for BB. I don't know if they're still doing it, but since Circuit City has started to do it in some stores, expect BB to give it a shot, as well.
My condolences...if it's any consolation, I'm on my fifth system since Oct. 2006. My Elite has lasted nine months so far...a lot longer than any of my Pro systems.
Fingers crossed...maybe Opus and Jasper will further curb the system's failure rate back to something closer to the industry average.
"It's done when it's done." Remember that one?
Glad to see they're committed to quality, rather than to just rushing it out.
Glad to see it's not turning into vaporware (as some have feared).
Take all the time you need, Remedy...but please finish it soon. This is definitely on my "must-buy" list.
"Only geeks want hard drives...?"
Um...what about those of us who want more DLC from the Virtual Console but don't want the constant hassle of switching memory cards...? Or their slooooow upload times?
Talk about out of touch.
