Very good points. Agree + bubbles.
Still buying it.
Does it sound like this?
http://centracomm.cachefly....
:)
...Why not have both?
...or just refuse to buy it. Eventually, it will go away.
"$5 for an upconverting, 360-compatible DVD player. Includes DVD remote. Also plays something called HD-DVDs."
I got one for next-to-nothing, and use it primarily for upconversion, though I've found a few HD-DVDs on the cheap.
Color me impressed.
...ignore the ads.
Flame-bait.
Um, Gears 2? Halo Wars? Alan Wake? Likely sequels to Bioshock and Mass Effect?
Not to mention dozens of solid multi-platform games.
And who knows what surprises they have up their sleeves.
Sorry, pal...you're wrong.
Well, the next step should be to incorporate high definition, a hard drive, and better online gameplay, either into the Wii, or into their next system.
Don't make the assumption that just because I'm upset at this article means I'm some kind of Xbox fanboy...anyone who reads my posts on a regular basis can tell you that.
Crappy articles like this do NOT need to be on this site, REGARDLESS of which console is being praised/criticized.
It's poorly written and edited...
...and its alleged evidence spurious and circumstantial...
I mean, what's the source for that picture? Or his "digger?"
How the HELL did this get approved?
Translation: "We're not ready to announce it yet."
It will happen. Just give it time.
Buying mine Friday. Can't wait for the full game.
If you say so...
But Bioshock's more emotional moments...the plight of the little sisters, the confrontation with Andrew Ryan, the "good" ending, with its nice twist...will be damned hard to top.
Besides, Gears' appeal lies in its thick layers of testosterone and blood and guts, and not how many tissues you go through.
LOL!!!
Very funny list...sorry to say that I'm guilty of a few of these. :)
I would assume that the Arcade and Elite will also drop...?
The Arcade unit might be gimped, but at say, $229, expect MS to start touting that it's cheaper than the Wii.
What would REALLY help a price drop, especially if they're going to drop the Arcade below the Wii, is a reduction in price for the hard drives and wifi adapter.
Maybe they need to start calling it a shooter (with RPG elements) rather than just an RPG. Might help reception of the game...maybe.
Ouch. This may have just gone from "must-buy" to "rental" for me.
Who, outside of fanboys, really cares?!?
