Yeah, I know. I have a 360 and a Wii, and can barely afford them. But I'm trying to work enough money out of my budget to get a PS3--and Uncharted, Ratchet, and LBP--later this year.

Fable 2...VP: TiP...Fallout 3...SW: Force Unleashed...Halo Wars (maybe)...Alan Wake (maybe)...Dead Space...Infinite Undiscovery...Banjo/Nuts and Bolts...Madden, NBA 2K, Lips, plus plenty of other mulitplat games.
The 360's lineup isn't as strong as it was last year...but I wish people would stop acting like 360 owners are going to have NOTHING TO PLAY this fall. Jeez.

I enjoy Live (and as I've said before, I don't mind paying a few bucks a month for it), and having used both Live and PSN, I can say that Live is the superior online service...for now.
Sony's trying hard to match the Live experience, and if they manage to do so AND keep it free/or free with ad support, then that may force MS to do the same. And I would welcome it.

A demo will go a loooong way towards alleviating...or aggravating...concerns about the quality of this game.

If I'm not mistaken, didn't Oblivion for the PS3 already use redundant data at multiple points on the disc to speed up read/load times?
