"When I see people(yes grown folks too) fighting about which console is better I just have to laugh because your fighting over something that is really so insignificant when it comes to the big picture and eventually you'll grow out of it.
Just play the games you like, own the system you want, and stop crying because someone else has an opinion. Thats my two cents. Take it or leave it."
*Applause* Amen, brother.

Which is what I intend to do.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to leave this flamefest and go play some GAMES.
Okami. Nuff said.
Already on my must-buy list.
LOVE your avatar.
Best rock trio EVER.
Gameplay first...
Graphics second.
If you REALLY think about it, many of the best games ever made didn't wow you with their graphical prowess (you didn't come back to them again and again for the pretty images) but with their fantastic gameplay.
Seriously, think about it.
That doesn't mean graphics aren't important, but should be secondary to gameplay.
I never thought any system would give the PS2 a run for the all-time console record...but the Wii has a chance.

And now you know...and knowing is half the battle (cue G.I. Joe theme song)
Kameo 2, please. The original was a verrrry underrated adventure game.
But I'd also take new versions of Killer Instinct and Conker, or even Perfect Dark Zero 2 (as long as it's better than the first one).
Sorry, PS3 gamers. This is one 360 port you DON'T want.
Good. That means retailers are doing their jobs. It also means that people like Jack Thompson have less ammo for their crusades against games.
Now, if only parents were as responsible about what their kids are exposed to...
Agreed, my good man. Good points.
Imagine this scenario:
The 360 sells 50 million units by the end of its life-cycle. That's probably--but not definitely--going to be less than what the Wii and PS3 will sell, but it's also more than DOUBLE what the original system sold...and they've done a tremendous job increasing their software variety and appeal.
And, profitability from the Xbox division is a real possibility by the end of the current gen.
As I recall, the price drops came AFTER the RRoD write-off.
July 5th for the announcement of the 3-year warranty/1+ billion dollar write-off;
And August (if I remember correctly) for the last batch of North American price drops. (Anyone with a specific date, please let me know)
And the RRoD write-off came at the end of a fiscal year. That money was allocated from a prior year's profits, set aside for both past AND future hardware failures. The RRoD no l...
I think it's still far too early in this gen's life cycle to predict a winner.
But I can say this with confidence: The 360 will definitely outdo the original Xbox in total hardware sales, will likely finish this gen with the best software attachment, and will continue to make MS a viable player in the home console business.
Agree? Disagree? Tell me why.
Just as long as it's reliable...that's my only request for the next Xbox.
LOVE that pic.
The NPD numbers ought to be interesting...
Will this finally put and end to the dreaded RRoD?
I certainly hope so.
(*crosses fingers*)

Talk about out of touch!
Just peeked in to see the comments...and there are a LOT of them.
Has any story on N4G ever reached 600 comments? That one Ratchet review last fall got to more than 500, if I remember correctly.
