Rush: My favorite band since college. Saw them in concert three years ago, am willing to sell a kidney to see them again. We need a Rock Band DL track of Neil Peart performing the Rhythm Method.
Petrucci and Dream Theatre are another favorite.
Yes, Satch rules...I'd pay good money for a GH game of just guitar legends: Satriani, Vai, Petrucci, Malmsteen, Johnson, Montrose, Rhodes, maybe some Pete Haycock, Steve Howe, Craig Chaquico...to name a very, very few.
YEAAAAAAAH BABY!
Hope it doesn't make the game TOO easy...maybe the difficulty level gets ramped up if you play with four players...adaptive difficulty would be great.
Later this summer (crosses fingers). The games are there and Live ROCKS...now we just need reliable hardware.
Back to Shalla-Bal: Joe Satriani
Um...FF X-2 but not FFVII? WTF?
And as much as I like Halo 3, I think the original game is still better.
One could also make a case for Bioshock, Mario Galaxy, Star Tropics, Super Metroid, Sonic the Hedgehog, etc.
$129 vs. $399...duh.
Think about it...a PS2, with its catalogue of more than 1500 games and a thriving used/secondary market, is still a great buy for those wanting an inexpensive system for the family.
Plus, Sony's probably making a decent profit on PS2 hardware at this point, so they can't be too upset at the continued success of the PS2. And as someone else noted, that means more potential PS3 owners down the stretch. (Which is one of the reasons MS never should...
Sex and video games...yup, he's 13.
Rumors, folks. Nothing confirmed either way.
Everyone chill out.
"Hot New Bird on Bear Action."
...
Looks like I'll be broke again this Christmas...broke, but smiling.
Looks like a fun platformer with puzzles and vehicles aplenty.
Colors are a bit much, though that could be due to the quality of the video and not the game itself.
And remember, folks, this is probably beta-level material right now...lots of fine-tuning still to come.
Oh, the IRONY!
Ron Paul FTW.
Looks like Kojima will make his last MGS game his best.
Yeah, it's not one of the games you brag about playing. But it's fun and clever, nonetheless. You can probably rent it, but I've seen used copies going for less than $15.
I see some people are badmouthing this game.
You're entitled to your opinion, but here's a question:
How many of you actually PLAYED the first VP?
It is one of the cleverest, most original titles I've ever played in more than 25 years of gaming. I bought it for my seven-year old son (LOL), and I've played it more than he has.
It looks and sounds like a kid's game, until you actually play it.
I agree...no Banjo-Kart, please.
Mixed bag...some pics look more polished than others, denoting (maybe?) different stages of development.
I'd like to see some real footage before making a judgment...but given Rare's track record with the Banjo series, I'm confident it will turn out well.
I like that one...thanks for posting it!
May's number will be much more interesting (full GTA impact, Wii Fit).
