Awesome. If we've gotta have in-game ads (and let's face it folks, they're coming), then at least give us the option of blowing them the hell up. :)
Exactly what I was going to say.
And USB hubs aren't expensive...I got one for my 360 for next to nothing. Ditto USB card readers, if you need one.
What mystifies me is the lack of backwards compatibility...unless the oft-rumored PS2 downloads on PS3 come to pass. That could be a part of the reason behind the increase in HD space.
W...T...F...?
Seriously, a lost exclusive as a reason for suicide?
Wow. That's either dedication or the worst case of fanboyism ever.
*breathes sigh of relief*
Crackdown's a BLAST. Been meaning to go back and play it some more (plus I'm still missing a few achievements). Open world/sandbox + super-powered cop + lots of weapons = tons of fun.
Never played Rockstar table tennis...but I have a couple of friends who swear by it.
Viva Pinata...you'll swear it's a kids game from the cover, until you actually play it, and realize it's as deep as any sim-type game on the PC. Easily one of the best games I've played in recent years....
Then do it. I'm sure PS3 owners would welcome some of the better PS1 games on their console. (For that matter, what about PS2 games, esp. with the lack of backwards compatibility in some PS3s?)
Yes, enough already.
Would I like the game on my 360? Sure.
Do I think it will happen? Probably not.
I mean, anything can happen...Konami might get greedy and do a port to the 360.
But at this point, all we have is rampant speculation and evidence that is scant and circumstantial (at best).
Until we hear directly from Konami that the game is 100% confirmed, no doubt about it, for the 360, we all need to stop this stupid specula...
Not a problem...side quests and the openness of the world will make for a much longer and richer experience. I mean, you could finish Oblivion's main quest (not counting guilds and the like) in just a matter of hours.
Lots of those are multiplat...but the same is true of MS's fall lineup, as well.
And isn't RE5 out in March of '09?
Still, pretty solid batch. Lots of credit card debt coming to gamers this fall.
A few questions that need to be answered:
Will it have the backwards compatibility that the current 80GB model has? (If not, why not bring PS2 games to PSN for download, as has been rumored)
Will it still be bundled with a game? (Imagine it with LBP) Maybe a BR movie?
Any chances of a bundled headset or HD cables?
Will this be the only model from now on, or will there be another (the oft-rumored 120GB model)?
Will this force MS ...
I think it would have to be a story like "Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo to merge and create only Hello Kitty games." :)
Don't think it will hurt sales one bit.
I'm cautiously optimistic so far...will be interesting to see how this develops.
I can wait.
I think N4G just exploded.
I call TEXAS CAGE MATCH, NO HOLDS BARRED!
Two consoles walk in, one walks out!
Taking allllll bets!
Yeah baby!!! That is GREAT news, indeed.
As if I needed another reason to buy this game! (Just as long as we get another Shivering Isles and not another horse armor).
Thank God.
So can we just enjoy the game, without all the flame-wars over whose "console" is bigger?
The fanboy spin on this article ought to be interesting.
