CG or in-game?
Looks good either way, but too often people hold up CG cutscenes as examples of a game's graphical capabilities. It's a partial indicator, but not definitive. Look at Marvel: Ultimate Alliance for PS3 and 360: Great cutscenes, but in-game imagery was decidedly different.
Regardless, as I've said MANY times before, I wish I could get this on my 360. If this plays half as well as I think it will...
Definitely worth buying.
I'm not being fanboyish, but I think this is a good example of a company seeing a need (negative press about 360 failures) and addressing it in a positive way.
No cross-platform pwnage and smack talk. Rats.
He probably rented or borrowed a lot of those games. A weekend with some of the shorter/easier achievement games (i.e., Prey) would be enough.
Still, that's darn impressive.
I've worked hard for my achievement points--2815 on six games, and 2700 of those came from just four of those games. (I just started Oblivion and Prey).
Also a VGA fix, which is good. I'm not using it, but one of my friends is. He'll be happy.
Hopefully, Annex--and other maps like it--help end the tendency towards "trench warfare" that too many Gears matches end up as.
*drooooooool*
Yeah, the images are grainy scans. It still looks SWEET. Pure pwnage.
If you haven't experienced the crack-like addiction that is Guitar Hero, prepare yourself! Your free time for the next few weeks...or maybe months...is now spoken for!
Possible solutions:
MS allows this through authorized dealers, and sells the returned units as reconditioned or used, either through the dealers, MS, or Xbox.com.
I like this idea, but I have 2 questions:
Will you have to pay the difference? I would assume as much, and I (and probably a lot of 360 owners) would be willing to fork over a few more dollars for the Elite.
How do I transfer my saves, achievements, downloads, etc to the ...
Here I was with a long post ready for this article...and Swordmaster said everything I was going to post. Good job. Positive feedback for you.
And again, this is why ports--of any kind--aren't always a good idea.
Halo 3 announced as a PS3 exclusive, along with Forza 2.
MS admits defeat and sells all assets to Nintendo for $1.
Bill Gates retires to a remote tropical island and becomes god-king to a mass of ex-MS employees. He sits in the dark and repeats "the horror...the horror..." over and over again. Eventually, J Allard is sent to end his reign..."with extreme prejudice."

I suspect most of the negativity is coming from current 360 owners, especially those who bought systems since Christmas and were under the impression that the Pro edition was the best there was for 360 gaming.
Truthfully, I don't think this hurts MS in the long term, but some negative press/opinion may be forthcoming and may hurt them short-term. Personally, I'm rooting for my system to crap out after April 29th (Best Buy replacement plan) and I'll just pay the difference.
1. God of War: Not going to happen (sorry) But I would love if it did.
2. Space Quest: Maybe
3. Mario (see #1)
4. Metal Gear Solid: Mmmmmmaybe
5. World of Warcraft: Possible
6. Counter-Strike (next gen version): Possible
7. Zelda: Nope
8. Diablo: Possible
9. Crysis: Pleeeeeease? (Might happen)
10. Adventure Island: Maybe
No mention of Final Fan...
And Gran Turismo for the Gamecube
And Mass Effect for the Dreamcast
And Resistance for N64
Yeah, this smells a LOT like April Fools.
XBox 360 Elite: $479.99
Wireless Racing Wheel: $149.99
Forza 2: $59.99
PGR 4: $59.99
An incredible racing experience: PRICELESS.
For someone who usually doesn't like racing games, I'm getting pretty excited about these two.
Since this is based on a socialist utopia, what about some kind of manifesto from the city's creator? Just a thought from a history and propaganda buff.
Both the PS2 and PS3 have USB ports...why not a universal guitar (first or third party) with a USB adapter that covers Sony and MS systems? Yeah, GH owners would have to buy a second guitar for their existing PS2 game, but without Nyko's adapter, is there any other way? It would also allow 360 owners to have a second guitar for multiplayer play.
That's hardly chump change, although Sony's one of the few companies capable of weathering that kind of a loss for one quarter. If this continues, though, they'll have a problem on their hand. As it is, this will affect their stock price and rating, if only temporarily.
What I'm curious about at this point is if the PS3's sudden decline in Europe is just a normal post-launch downturn, or a sign of something more serious.
