@MIDGETonSTILTS17
Paid by who? He's talking about both systems in a good way. And even talks about doing it with graphics cards on his PC.
Are they all paying him? Or are you just one of those people that can't stand when someone says something good about Microsoft, even though he early just likes video games in general?
@IRetrouk
What did he call? Did he predict that MS wpuld sit down and discuss releasing Halo in pieces then decide against doing that? Because that would have been impressive. He didn't predict that though. His prediction was wrong.
@morganfell
Okay. So you predicted they would launch a few story missions and partial multiplayer to meet launch. But.......they aren't doing that. They delayed the game. So why are you excited about your wrong prediction? Lol
Max Payne is also a part of the universe. He is mentioned very briefly in Control.
Wow. If anyone is on a high horse its you, pal. You're the one claiming that certain things should be taken out of video games because YOU don't think it should be there. And you're basing that on the fact that there is no morally black and white standards in real life. (Which I agree with.) But video games are an escape from the real world for a lot of people. Video games would NEVER have gotten where they are today if people didn't like them because they weren't realist...
Neither are magic swords, the undead, mushrooms that turn you into a giant, dragons, mythilogical gods, super powered heroes, and just about anything else in 90% of video games.
Should we get rid of all that too?
There's a place for all of it in video games.
Spider-Man has paid DLC.
https://www.google.com/amp/...
It went like this. Marvel approached Sony to make an exclusive Spider-Man game and gave them free reign to use whatever studio they wanted.
Sony approached Insomniac to make the game.
Its just a partnership. Spidey has appeared in many non-Sony games including Lego Marvel 1 and 2, Ultimate Allia...
@Shaggy2304
If Sony owns the video game rights then why is Spider-Man in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 and countless non-Sony mobile games?
it sucks because more and more often I see games that look good on Steam then when I click on it I see its an Early Access game.
I can't stand that. I want to play a finished game and I'm not paying for it until then.
How os a big budget a scam? They aren't asking fans to pay that $500 million in order to get the game made. When it releases this year it will cost the amount of a normal priced game. And if hou want DLC, I'm sure they'll have that too.
But even paid DLC and microtransactions is better than this crap. Charging 1,000's of dollars for ships? And the game isn't even done? Come on. You can't be so blind that you can't see the difference here.
You don't know that. In fact, Bungie was already working on Destiny back when they made Halo ODST, as there is an easter egg in ODST for Destiny. Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt Bungie knew they were going to make a deal back then. So it seems to me like they would have had two franchises they were working on, Halo and Destiny.
Sure, the gameplay in Destiny is similar to Halo and always has been.
I don't think thats what people are complaining about. People are saying the new Halo is like Destiny in the sense that its a GaaS model game and has big open areas without much in it.
Yeah.....
I don't know how good Halo Infinite will be or not, but I really have to question how much you know about Halo. The game has been known for not having ADS since the very beginning of the franchise. No ads is part of its gameplay and always has been. Only certain guns with sights like the Battle Rifle or Sniper Rifle have aiming.
Also, why do you say it like its a bad thing? Doom and Doom Eternal have no ads and they are arguably the best FPS games to...
I think thats wishful thinking. I like Nintendo and all, but they don't seem to really do anything that fans really ask for. They do their own thing.
Otherwise we would have a new, proper Starfox and we wouldn't still be waiting for a new Metroid. I understand Metroid Prime 4 had production issues and basically had to start all over. But the last Metroid game to come out was in 2007. As good as the sidescroller 3DS Metroid was a few years ago, it was a remake and on...
Right. Because misleading your customers into thinking their console will have tons of launch titles while actually including BC games in the lineup is totally classy, right?
Maybe its just me and playing on a base PS4, but I feel like the cbaracter models could be more detailed. The environments are so gorgeous, but the models aren't up to that same level. Thats seriously like my only gripe with the game. I love it.
So what if it treads familiar ground? All open world games do, to some extent. Hell, every game in every genre does to some extent. Its what genres are.
For me, a game doesn't have to be innovative and new to be fun. As long as there is something there that keeps my interest.
In Tsushima, its the setting and swordplay. I've never played a game with combat quite like this. It basically takes several different combat systems and mashes them together...
Its not shooters themselves that people are tired of. Its the lack of any innovation and companies following the latest trends. This is an arena shooter, which are a dime a dozen now. Yet Doom did very well. If it was shooters in general then Doom would have gone tits up at launch, but it didn't.
If a game is interesting and genuinely fun to play, then people will play it, regardless of genre.
For sure. It definiteky hurts that they delayed Halo. I just find it funny though. Most of the time delays are considered good decisions because it means the product will be released in a better, more finished/polished state.
But when MS does it, suddenly its a horrible thing thag means MS is crumbling.
