But see, thats a problem. I'm glad they patched it, but reviewers grade games on the state they are in at launch. So the reviewers weren't wrong. And it shouldn't be expected that reviewers go back and reviews games a year later to give an updated score. What should be expected is the developers releasing a finished product at launch.
Not saying you disagree with any of that, by the way
Can almost guarantee it will be $60.
Wow. Don't take life so seriously, buddy. Lol
This is the problem with a lot of gamers. Why does it always have to be one or the other? Why do you need to quit consoles and get a PC? Why can't it be both?
Its no different than the Xbox vs Playstation arguments. Its so idiotic. Anyone that can't admit that all platforms have their own strengths and weaknesses is just being ignorant. Anyone that limits themselves to only one platform out of brand loyalty (and not something like what they can afford) is only missi...
Its not an "activation". Its to download the rest of the files.
This is such a weird argument. Of course Xbox is competing with Sony. Is their console on the shelves at the same time as Sony's? Will people choose between Sony and Microsoft consoles as the one they buy? Will Playstation sales take away from Xbox sales?
The answer to all of those is yes. Which means they are in direct competition with each other.
Have you even played this? I've been playing flight simulators since the original X-Wing, TIE Fighter, and X-Wing vs TIE Fighter. And I can say this game is the next best thing to those. But its literally impossible to make a flight sim as in depth as those on console because those games used almost every single button on the keyboard and joystick. There aren't enough buttons on a controller to do that.
Doed this game have its share of small issues? Yes. This being...
Are there games that DO have a reason to be greedy?
Well I mean, they don't have plans to make a Destiny 3 at all. So thats probably why.
If the game has a big enough budget and costs enough to make, then yes its a AAA game. It doesn't matter if its a free-to-play game or not.
Its interesting. Mass Effect1 needs an update to the shooting mechanics to be more like ME 2 amd 3. Mass Effect 2 and 3 need to be made a little more. RPG-ish with the armor and guns to be more like ME1.
If they took the best of both worlds and made a game like that it would be a beautiful thing.
Dead Space 3 sucks. Like, a lot. But 1 and 2 are arguably the best Survival Horror games of all time.
Yeah its really annoying. Its to the point where Nintendo games are never a part of sales that stores put on. Paying full price for games that are years old is so dumb.
I don't care what Boon's answer is. The REAL answer is that he knows people love Mileena so he left her off the roster so he could charge for her a year later and help bring money and fans back to the game. He always saves crazy popular DLC characters until later in the game's life. Fighting games lose a big portion of their player base relatively quickly. By doing this he keeps the game hyped. He's not stupid. He knows what he's doing.
He saved Martian...
I mean, there's a lawsuit against the Elite 2 controllers drifting. So its clearly something that happens. Did you ever think that you were lucky that the ones you have just don't have that issue?
I don't get people praising this game. The graphics were fantastic and the world and story were very interestint, but the game was very bad. Poor AI. Team mates that never dealt damage to enemies. One boss that was recycled throughout the game, including the final boss.
All these things get torn apart in any other game. Yet people seem to forget about it in this game.
Having said that, I would be interested in a sequel if they made improvements to th...
Its pretty reassuring that we're starting to see a pattern with these heavily monetized games failing.
The last financially successful one I can think of is Destiny 2. But since then we've Battlefront 2 fail miserably, Anthem, and Avengers. These were all games that were either GAAS models or required a sickening amount of Microtransactions to get things you want or progress without an unrealistic grind. Hopefully this is the beginning of the end for this terrible ...
Disney should see this easily. They had the same issue with Star Wars. We all remember the disaster of Battlefront 2, so I won't mention the details. But then Jedi Fallen Order and Squadrons came out and neither of them have any microtransactions and they received a lot of praise for being good games. So it was surprising Disney didn't step in with Avengers. It makes me wonder how much input they are really adding to these games. Probably not as much as people think.
Fingers crossed that this one sells well and EA moves forward with a full blown sequel with loads more ships and all of the trilogy eras.
I couldn't get into either Evil Within games. And I did try both. Alien Isolation, Until Dawn, and RE7 would have to be my favorite horror games this gen.
