Its a toss up. The fact that the Switch can play the same games as current gen consoles (mostly) makes it very good. But 3DS had a huge variety of its own.
The big difference for me is that TLOU2 was a nearly perfectly made game. If someone doesn't like the story, I get it. But I'm not sure how anyone can put a nearly perfectly made game that only had a contraversial story in the same category as games like Cyberpunk and Avengers.
Cyberpunk and Avengers were games we had been waiting many years for, just like TLOU2, except they released in horrible states. Cyberpunk was barely playable on half its platforms and had mul...
I see a lot of people mentioning TLOU2. Regardless of what anyone thinks about the story, the game was amazing. It had beautiful graphics, the sound was great, it was pretty much free of bugs and glitches, gameplay was great (nothing special, but it worked perfectly), and it played exactly how it was supposed to. Story is all up to personal opinion, so I can't imagine that game being considered as one of the biggest disappointments.
Not when we had Cyberpunk and Avenge...
That isn't true. Fallen Order and Squadrons shows that EA actually CAN handle Star Wars very well. But I'm convinced those games only happened because Disney made them make games that weren't going to piss off the fanbase with pay to win microtransactions. They haven't made a bad Star Wars game since Battlefront 2.
Having said all that, Star Wars could be handled better overall. But EA made huge strides with those 2 games.
"And yet no one, including you, can explain Tim Stuart's comments?"
The difference is Tim Stuart's comments weren't announcing anything. He was simply saying what could happen.
Its like when Disney bought Marvel. Kevin Feige talked about the acquisition, and even made comments about acquiring all these Marvel characters they didn't previously have movie rights to, but they never once made official announcements of what characters...
Gotta remember that Fallen Order was really the first game that EA took a purely pro-fan approach on. Aside from the pre-order bonus orange lightsaber and skins, they didn't charge extra for anything. Everything can be unlocked in-game without any grinding whatsoever. Granted, they didn't release any additional content for it either, aside from a couple new game modes. But it was free! And honestly, I don't think most gamers even care if DLC comes out for games. These days, most j...

Before I say anything, I habe both a PS4 and Switch and love them both. But I've been waiting for this lol.
Any time Switch beat PS4 in sales or set some kind of record, people were on this very site claiming it didn't count because technically Switch was a next gen console. Thats all well and good, but I've also called out that this means Switch will be destroying PS5's sales numbers for a while once the PS5 la...
I remember going over to my friend's house when I was a kid and he put in Punch Out and it had Mr. Dream instead of Mike Tyson. Even as a small 5 or 6 year old I was like, "Where's Mike Tyson?"
Do you not know what 4K is? Its a resolution size. It doesn't change the graphics themselves. Literally ANYTHING benefits from having better resolution.
The funny thing is I would have loved to have gotten a PS4 Pro, but I never did. I didn't feel like it was NEEDED or NECESSARY. But thats just me. Its all up to opinion. For me, I wasn't going to go spend another $400 or $500 (whatever it cost at launch) for a mid-gen upgrade knowing PS5 was only a couple years around the corner.
If my base PS4 had died on me, 100% I would have replaced it with a Pro. It just all depends on what people want. But my base PS4 served m...
Most games don't bring anything new to the table. It doesn't make them bad games. Just off the top of my head, Spider-Man PS4 didn't bring anything new to the genre and its a fantastic game, even though its basically just Arkham but with Spider-Man. I mean, its the same game with a different story, location and characters. But again, its one of the best PS4 games of all.
Games shouldn't be judged poorly if they don't bring anything new. Its rare that a...
But that isn't true. PS4 can run Cyberpunk. Its obviously not running at the same quality as PS5 or even PS4 Pro. The graphics and framerates suffer. But I'm playing it on PS4 and its not "unplayable" like people claim. Is it glitchy? Yes. But its glitchy on everything.
The problem is on PS4 its just no where near what we were told the game would be, graphically.
But there have been tons of refunds, horrible reception both from critics and fans, and the game was taken down off of Playstation Network. All 3 of those things mean investors aren't getting as much as they should.
Read tbe article. Its a suit for INVESTORS. It has nothing to do with people that bought the game. If investors win they will get a heft amount, as there are far fewer investors than people that bought this game. You cam bet they will get far, far more than $3.95 if this is found in their favor.
You mean before CD Projekt Red spawned into the enclosed room behind him and opened fire?
I don't see how they were trying to make him Starkiller 2.0? He's nothing like Starkiller at all. And yes, he's weak. He was a Padawan when Order 66 happened. He wasn't meant to be a powerful Jedi in this game because he never finished his training. Also, when you level up his Force Push it gets stronger to the point where you can throw multiple enemies off cliffs. Its not like the entire game Force Push just makes people stumble lol
We also don't know w...
I don't know how. The High Republic era is long after the Old Republic era. I realize KOTOR is no longer canon, but shoving Revan into High Republic seems stupid, if thats true.
TIE Fighter is by far the best Star Wars game ever made.
Witcher 3 is a great game. I just absolutely hate the combat. And if I don't like the combat in a combat heavy game like that, then I'm not going to keep playing it.
There are millons of people that bought the game for PS4 and Xbox One, and big portion of those won't have a next gen console for a long time. So no, they shouldn't just stop fixing previous gen consoles. The game was always promised to be on those consoles and those customers deserve the game that was promised, or at least as close to it as possible.
