And I hope you don't have any. But its still early. I got my Xbox 360 day one and it took a month to get RROD. PS5 has only been out a week.
I'm so excited for this! The only thing is how can they keep the TIE Defender from being too over powered? Its incredibly fast, has 6 laser guns, and I believe it also has shields, which is one of they ways they are able to balance TIE's and Rebel ships. TIE's are very fast, but don't have shields. I don't know, the A-Wing is fast with shields too though. Maybe this will make a good enemy for the A-Wing.
And as cool as Defenders are, I still want a TIE ...
Mass Effect 3 was still a great game. The ending left a lot to be desired, but I would hardly call it a "hack job".

Horizon Zero Dawn is an awesome game and I loved it. But it didn't really advance anything in terms of Open World games either. I can't think of a single thing in that game that I hadn't seen before. Aside from the giant robot animal designs of course.
Monster Hunter World isn't really an open world though. You have a town "hub" then launched into large maps for hour hunts. And while they were pretty big in size, and you could free roam, I still wouldn't consider it an open world game.
Its a great game. And one of the cooler features is if someone on your friends list gets killed by one of the Orc Generals then it shows in your game that that particular Orc killed one of your friends and you would get bonuses if you got revenge and killed him. But the Orc Generals also get promotions any time they kill a player, so if one kills you or a friend, then next time they have better armor, weapons, and stats.

Did those faceplates for 360 actually work "super well" though? I seem to remember them being a thing at console launch, and they were around for the forst year or so, but then they just kind of faded away. If they were really that successful then MS would have kept pumping out new designs and they would have been a thing for the entire life of the console.

Whats crazy is these people must not realize that delays are a good thing. The game will release more complete and polished. Why would anyone want to rush that?
Exactly. Just look how polarizing Final Fantasy 7 Remake was. Some people wanted basically the same game with updated graphics, and some people were happy with what we got.
I prefer remakes to be as close to the original as possible.
Less of a focus on Batman characters.
Batman, Robin, Batgirl or Batwoman, and 3 villains is all they need. I say 3 villains because Joker and Harley Quinn won't go anywhere. But Clayface could be really cool.
More focus on other main DC villains. Metallo. Heatwave. Mirror Master. Mongul. Parasite. Despero. Amazo. Larfleez. Ocean Master. All of these guys would be awesome in a fighting game.

How is Destiny a failed experiment when the franchise is still going strong over 6 years later? They are still heavily supporting it and its getting ready to come out with a bunch more content (or already did) which is basically the equivalent of a Destiny 3.

Shadow of Rome was awesome! I loved how you had to throw heads and body parts into the crowd to get them to cheer more for you. Such a fun game.

They didn't "turn it into a gear-grinding Destiny clone". The single player is still there. It didn't get turned into anything. They added another mode. A very well done mode.
The console war will pretty much always be a thing. As long as there is competition for all 3 of these consoles, it will exist to an extent.
