Lol. So petty.
So are you an Xbox Series X fanboy, or a PC fanboy?
@ScootaKuH
I get what you're saying, and sometimes it is easy just to go off the review scores, like hou said. As much as people like to say they'll make their own judgements, or reviews are meaningless nowadays, I guarantee you there are times that they will 100% listen to reviews. Otherwise, how does a game like Biomutant get so many people to decide not to buy it before it even launches?
It just all depends. If a game gets good reviews across t...
I don't think its ironic. As much as people like to think there is some big war between MS and Sony, its not like they hate each other. They are all in the same industry and I'm sure they all recognize that death threats on studios is a horrible experience, no matter who os getting threatened. I think its quite refreshing to see him come to Sony's defense.
I think the tech in the original BF2142 was pretty accurate to what we'll have then in real life, if thechnology goes down that path. Mechs. Tanks. They still had projectile weapons (not lasers).
The big advancements were really the helicarrier-like Titans, and the tools, like the energy wall you could drop to give yourself cover.
Futuristic, but not really sci-fi movie futuristic. And 2042 is only 20 years from launch. There won't be that much of...
The sound was really strange for ME1 in this. The Mass Relays were SOOOOOOO loud! And the Assault Rifle is really loud too. All the guns are, really, but the Assault Rifle is even worse than the others.
I just started ME2 last night and was really happy that the guns sound normal in it compared to ME1.
Colonial Marines is the only other one I can think of that released in a state as horrible as this. But Colonial Marines didn't have quite the same amount of hype as Cyberpunk. I mean, Colonial Marines did have quite a large amount of hype behind it, and it was another game in development for many years. And it was coming from a studio that people trusted to make good games. But Cyberpunk was pretty much universally hyped.
So let me get this straight. You think that all the backlash this game has gotten has been from people being dishonest? So you think it got taken down from PSN because it was a perfectly fine game? You think CDPR is battling lawsuits over this game because ot was perfectly fine? You think CDPR has been doing regular update patches to fix all the issues because it was perfectly fine? Just read the patch notes to see the long laundry list of things they've fixed, starting a couple weeks a...
And what do you think it means when the developer didn't hit their deadline? Regardless of the reason for the delay, it means the game isn't ready yet. And by taking more time, they are working on the game to make it better than it was. No one thinks delays mean they are adding more content and the game will be bigger and have more features. I'm not sure where you're gettinf that idea. But it does mean they are ironing out issues with the games. Bugs, stability, graphical work...
Apparently these idiots learned nothing from Cyberpunk. They kept hounding and hounding for it to release, even sent death threats. And look at how that turned out, even after delays.
Release games when they are ready. Otherwise we end up disappointed. This is nothing new.
Oh it was the PS4 version lol. It just sucked and wasn't ready to release when it did.
@GlaciusZero
"A delayed game is a good game."
Wasn't Cyberpunk delayed multiple times?
If it does then cool for fans of the series, but I just haven't enjoyed any of them.
I got it for Christmas. I played it a few times but I couldn't stand all the crazy bugs. Its sitting in its case waiting for the PS5 update.
Man I loved Snatcher. Such a great game!
There are some fundamental problems with the game that simple bug fixing won't change though. The way the police interact with the character and the world, and general NPC AI to name 2 right off the bat.
ODST and Reach were both great games and neither of them had Master Chief.
I agree with rental places, but arcades could still be awesome. They are definiteky still a thing in Japan. Whats weird is here in the U.S. the only arcades nowadays just have some driving games and light gun games. I really miss the days of fighting games in the arcades. When they were in their hay day, those were some of my best gaming memories. Street Fighter 2. The first time I laid eyes on Mortal Kombat and saw Kano rip someone's heart out. All the Marvel vs. Games, especially MvC2...
Haha yeah, exactly. Or, a game you've been waiting for to come out, but it wasn't a hugely anticipated game, so they only got like 1 or 2 copies in total, so it was NEVER there.
I remember wanting to rent the Punisher beat em up game on Sega Genesis, but my Blockbuster only had 1 copy. I had been waiting so long for it to come out. Then I saw the case there, and it was probably a good 6 months before I was actually able to rent it.
"you just never played the original REvils"
Hahaha. I love it. Someone doesn't agree with you, so it must mean they didn't play the original RE games. Its also absolutely hysterical that you're so convinced its a bad game that you refuse to believe it sold well, so Capcom must have inflated their numbers lol.
Well I can tell you I've been playing RE since the original. Back when they first came out. And I have no problem with wha...
This. Even if they don't have consistent stock. They NEED to start selling consoles in physical stores.
