"Not sure why people are celebrating this. All it shows is that PlayStation owners spend the most on microtransactions."
And what do you think drives those microtransactions? I'll make it easy. Its the amount of players on Playstation vs the other consoles and PC. Or are you honestly trying to imply that Playstation has the same amount of players as everyone else, but they just spend more money on microtransactions? Because that doesn'...
I get what GaboonViper is saying. The headline alone is making presumptions about what I think of this game. Thats a little annoying.
1. If you think these newer Battlefield games are no different than the older ones, just with better graphics, then you are crazy. The last good Battlefield was BF4. Everything after that has been pretty bad.
2. You don't honestly believe that the $10 price increase is going to stop DLC or microtransactions for those games, do you?
Gauging interest would make sense if they were trying to determine if they should a make a game or not. But this is obviously being made, regardless. Why would they leak pics to gauge interest at that point?
They could easily prevent save scumming by implementing something like X-Com, where it auto saves, and you can load from it, but only once. Then the save is gone.
No. This game was just bad since day one. No amount of Spider-Man would fix that.
I never played this until last week when I downloaded it for free on PS+, but I remember hearing about stumbling performance-wise on base PS4. Which is what I'm playing it on now. I know its been a while and received plenty of patches at this point, but I'm having zero problems running it on my base PS4.
Granted I haven't gotten to any parts with a big horde of zombies and have really only had 10-15 on the screen at a time, so I guess the verdict is still out. ...
It all depends though. Classic BF games weren't all medium sized maps. It always depended on what kind of vehicles were available. Small maps had no vehicles except maybe a buggy. Some didn't even have that. Medium maps had armor like armored cars, tanks, buggies, and helos. large maps had all of that plus jets. This was the formula going all the way back to BF2. BF1 and BF5 is where all that started changing, and not for the better.
I remember the same thing. People are here talking about the game being bad and releasing in a bare bones state, which is true. But that just solidified that the game itself was not good.
But people had already made up their mind when the first trailer dropped, and the main complaint was about "historical inaccuracy" based on women on the front lines and fighting with a prosthetic arm. At that point, thats all we had. A trailer. And I get it to an extent. Battlefi...
Agreed. This is the kind of thing that ruins fighting games. MvC3 was ruined due to the infinite combos. Landing one light normal attack leads to a dead character. And spamming assists. Just horrible game design....
Nah man, you're underestimating Luigi. Don't feel bad though. Most do.
ROGUE. its ROGUE-Like. Not ROUGE.
Uh, yeah? I was kind of agreeing with you. If I had traded this in or something I would have cut my losses too.
The only reason I haven't is because I still have the game. So maybe when I have a PS5 and they put the update out for that I'll try it again.
I haven't owned an Xbox since the 360, mainly because I saw what a crapshow the Xbone was going to be, like a lot of people. And throughout the entire generation they never did anything to make me feel like I was missing out on something.
So its nice to see that MS is finally cleaning their house and getting better. But its hysterical to me how the narrative changes with fans based on their console loyalties. You know exactly what everyone would be saying if Sony had b...
I agree that these articles are dumb. But someone doesn't have to exit for it to be a war. That would just be the end of the war.
When two countries are at war with eacb other no one waits until one country is defeated or surrenders before saying it was a war. The surrender or defeat just signifies the end of the war.
But to be fair, the console war is just fanboy nonsense. The only thing these companies care about is making their money, and wanting...
I don't know about milking the lifespan. The console is only what, 4 years old? And Nintendo has never really been about power and amazing graphics. Was it underpowered compared to the PS4 and Xbone? Sure. Is it severely underpowerd compared to the PS5 and Xbox Series X? Yeah. But it doesn't need to be on those levels. Their big money maker is their exclusives, which aren't overly demanding.
They definitely need to work on their practices a bit. Over charging i...
Not to rub it in your face or anything, but do you ever wonder where your old copy is now? Like, how many times its changed hands since you let it go?
If that were the reason they wouldn't keep making cross gen games. They also wouldn't shut something down knowing full well there's only a small fraction of people that have even been able to find a PS5 yet.
My PS5 doesn't even fit in my house.
