To be fair he wasn't saying that the article is wrong and that PS4 outsold Switch in the US at launch.
He's saying the PS4 outsold it WORLDWIDE at launch.
But at the end of the day he's still being "that guy".
He saw an article about the Switch beating his precious PS4 in something so he had to quickly come up with something to make his PS4 the superior console.
I guess I'm missing the part where anyone said the Switch is the fastest selling gaming system worldwide.
The article didn't say it. No one in the comments is saying it. So why are you so insecure? The PS4 still outsold it worldwide at launch, so you can relax. Why do you feel the need to crap all over the Switch's success? This is a huge accomplishment and they deserve praise.
Of course not. Rather than admitting it they will make up some nonsense about how its still going to fail in the long run. Those types were so negative that they will never just step back and admit being wrong.
Its a home console with the ability to be portable. Sure, you can call it a hybrid. But its still a home console.
Are you new to this site? Lol. There are always Nintendo Nay-Sayers downplaying the Switch and its success, or how successful it will be.
I would recommend it! If I didn't have a daughter I wouldn't have bought it, but I got her one for Xmas and I'm glad I did. Its a LOT of fun.
As for the price drop? I dunno. Nintendo is weird with their prices. It usually takes a long time for them to lower prices on anything. Hell, the Wii U was $300 right up until the day it died.
I'm just saying, its worth the $300.
They are just trying to include all corners of the Marvel Universe. Except the X-Men of course....
I suppose you don't remember the Nintendo Wii? A console that was a brand new concept that both MS and Sony have replicated with their motion controls?
As far as games, Nintendo uses a tried and true formula that works for them. Their games are almost always fun, well made and complete experiences with no bugs. Nostalgia or not, they are releasing games that cover the FUN side of gaming.
I wish I could say the same about other devs. But rarely do we ...
Hello, good sir.
I was wondering if you are familiar with what the ReBirth series is? Is it just a re-release of the classics, or are there updated graphics and what-have-you?
My knackers would be quite tickled if there is an updated version of the original Castlevania. I would be willing to pay top dollar for such a game to play upon my Nintendo Switch!
Uh.....this isn't a remake?
Literally not a single word of this is news. We've known this for weeks.
I'm pretty sure developers and publishers recognize that DOOM is a game that released 18 months earlier on other consoles and that DOOM is a somewhat niche title (meaning parents won't be buying it for kids, which is a big deal because a lot of kids are on Nintendo consoles).
When a 3rd party game releases for all 3 consoles at the same time? That is the time to support it on Switch also. Not some game that came out 18 months ago that everyone already owns if they w...
I'm not playing Grammar Police. I don't do that. I just thought this was funny, and sounds delicious also.
I already have Doom on PS4, which is a superior experience to the Switch version.
I also have a Switch, but I see no reason to get it again, especially at full price. When a 3rd party game comes out that I want, I will buy it for Switch. But I bought a Switch mostly for the Nintendo Exclusives. Pretty much any 3rd party games that are also on PS4 will have a better experience on PS4.
Sorry. I'm not a fanboy of any consoles. I'm a video game fanbo...
DOOM was out on PS4 and Xbox One for a year and a half before Switch. Also, both of those systems had a much larger user base when it released than the Switch did when it released there.
I don't see why this is hard for people to see.
You are right. A return to form would do a lot to win fans back over. And not releasing a horribly buggy game.
Unfortunately, they took a big hit with ME:A and I can't see them giving it another try. Its a shame really.
No way. Mass Effect didn't start dying after ME3. If they had gone in a different direction and NOT released a game full of bugs with a boring story and characters then it would have done fine.
The hype for a new ME game was huge when they announced that one was coming. It wasn't until the reports of all the horrible development issues started coming out and people started realizing that we knew literally nothing about the game just 2 months before launch that peopl...
"High Steaks" lol
Lol What do you mean "what happened to the Wii"?
It sold gangbusters. Over 100 million consoles sold. Nothing bad happened to it. It went its course and was a huge success.
Then came WiiU, and well, we all know how that went. But it was a different console. Wii killed it.
