@Chris235
Really? I didn't know you got SoT just for buying the new one. I just remember when they announced Fractured But Whole they made a big deal about pre-ordering and getting Stick of Truth free.
But yeah, I don't know what took so long. But Stick of Truth was in development hell for years before it finally released. Kinda weird, considering.
Tomorrow will be fantastic! I'm picking up my pre-order of this as soon as Gamestop opens and playing until my pre-order of Monster Hunter shows up from Amazon. Then I will be hunting.
Me too! When I pre-ordered Fractured But Whole I got it for free. The funny thing is when they delayed The Fractured But Whole by almost a whole year they gave us the option for a refund. So I did that, but they let me keep The Stick of Truth.
Then I bought Fractured But Whole in December for like $30 on Amazon lol.
When you pre-ordered The Fractured But Whole you also got a digital version of The Stick of Truth for free on PS4. I think Xbox also, but I don't have one so I'm not sure. I think it was across both consoles though.
I got this too. It was glorious.
Don't tell me what my favorite shooter is, you filthy animal.
It could be suspect if the score wasn't the same across the board from pretty much everyone that has reviewed this game.
Individual reviews can always be called into question. When ALL the reviews are saying the same thing, you can take it to the bank.
Jesus......
I got them both and took off work tomorrow lol. Wife will be at work. Daughter at school. Tomorrow shall be glorious! MH and DBZ!
In previous Monster Hunters they gave you plenty of time to find and kill the monster. Like almost an hour. So much time that you didn't even realize it was timed.
I don't know if this one will be the same, but I'm sure it will.
Lol. Ironically enough thats exactly what people wanted...
I can't tell if you're agreeing with me or not lol.
But I agree that Xenoverse was overrated. (I assume you are talking about that since its the only DBZ game where you can play dress up)
Fighter Z is an awesome game. No doubt about it. But it certainly does not feel more like playing an episode of DBZ than Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and 3. Those games nailed it.
Any DBZ game that has 80% of the combat taking place on the ground is no...
I'm only commenting on the statement that Fighter Z is the closest you can feel to playing an episode of DBZ. It isn't. Plain and simple.
As a full on fighting game, sure, Fighter Z is more traditional.
The closest thing you'll find to playing the TV anime series?
No it isn't. Budakai Tenkaichi 2 and 3 hold that title.
Fighter Z is tons of fun though! Just the fact that you can't transform during matches unless its part of a special move and also that its mostly ground based fighting makes it feel less like the show.
But again, still an excellent game and I cant wait for the full version Friday!
With Monster Hunter coming out Friday I'm not sure I will ever go back to Destiny.
It looks to be me and my friends' new online co-op game.
MH sounds like a dream come true. No microtransactions have been spoken of. Free updates, both small and large. This is how you do online co-oo right.
I think I responded to this in another article, but I'll give you a short answer.
Yes.
Weapons play a very large part in how your character plays. There no classes. So it all comes down to your weapon. Are you a ranged type character? A tank? Etc.
There is a weapon called the Hunter's Horn. Its basically like a big horn (duh lol) that you can blow to give you and your allies buffs and also debuff enemies. It can also heal allie...
1. There is 50-60 hour campaign story mode in this.
2. If you played the beta, then yes, you killed one monster. One extremely easy monster. There are over 40 different monster types in this game and they ramp up in difficulty pretty quickly. There is a large amount of strategy that is required to play. What monster are you hunting? What are its weaknesses? What are its strengths? Does it have poison attacks? Fire Attacks? Cold attacks? What environment are you in? Is it a ...
@ EatCrow
He didn't compare them as two similar games. The point I think he's trying to make is that pretty much any game can have tons of time put into them.
Look at all the people that play Battlefield for hundreds of hours trying to unlock everything. No matter how many maps there are, playing for that amount of time can get repetitive if you don't enjoy the gameplay enough. The same can be said for CoD, Destiny, and yes, even Halo.
@ Perjoss
You are correct. RE7 was fantastic.
Thankfully, Monster Hunter seems to be the only thing Capcom does consistently get right these days.
All Monster Hunter missions are timed....
So I doubt thats what it means.
