@ naruga
RE7 was fantastic. Aside from being first person it was a return to form that 5 and 6 were severely lacking.
SF5 launched in a barebones state. That was so they could get it on the tournament scene asap. Probably not the best approach, honestly, but it is a fantastic game. It just needed more content.
I agree 100% with MvC: I. A larege part of the problem was the roster though, and that was totally Marvel's fault for only w...
Yes, a lot of games still get updates long after launch.
BF2 is not a simple update. They are overhaulingnthe entire progression system. Big difference.
Witcher 3 didn't launch with a system that pissed off a large portion of the community. Those updates are much, much different.
It still hasn't sold what they wanted or expected it to though.
Capcom is notorious for it. But the MH series always had things like this for free. I never paid anything extra for Link and Samus in the previous 3DS games. So I guess we'll see.
It will. The MH games on Nintendo had tons of cool dlc like this. It was free also.
They let you play as Mario, Link, Samus, and loads more.
MHW has said it will have free small and large updates, so I don't know if they will charge for things like this or not.
I'm still struggling with this crazy statement. How on earth can you say we are hunting something that is no threat to you? They viciously attack you as soon as they see you lol.
How did I know that this was going to come up? Jesus.
In the game, you are settling a new area. There are violent monsters there that will kill you if you don't kill them.
What motivation are you looking for? Have you actually played the game? When you are out in the world what happens when one of these monsters sees you? They attack you and try to kill you. These aren't like animals in real life, where if a bear in the woods sees you it might no...
I'm replying your below post here.
I get what you are saying, but i'm not sure how much impact constructive criticism gives a developer like EA when they know they already have your money.
Sure, in a perfect world you would be 100% correct. Unfortunately, buying a game the way it is, then telling them you would want certain changes, is only telling devs that even though you would want those changes you are perfectly okay with spending money on th...
They thought they did have it figured out before launch. They thought they would be able to implement that ridiculous system and that gamers would just eat it up.
The ONLY reason they are making all these changes is because enough people finally said "enough is enough."
It may not have launched with MTs, but that was certainly their plan. There's even a place for it, its just disabled.
I understand they removed it pre-launch, but they also said they would be implementing them again in the future.
The bottom line is that if gamers didn't put their feet down then you would be playing a much different version right now. One that takes hundreds of hours to unlock all the heroes (some took over a hundred hours by the...
@ Obi1Biker
I'm aware you couldn't spend real money since launch. But the point is that if gamers didn't put their feet down, then you better believe that system that was in place pre-launch is what you would have gotten.
They had full intentions of having microtransactions in the game for loot crates. There's even a place in the finished build that launched for you to do it. They just deactivated it.
Again, that happene...
@ EDMIX
1. It doesn't matter that it wasn't implemented at launch. It was their original plan and design. You can't honestly think that EA wouldn't have implemented that system if people didn't do exactly what I'm talking about and put their feet down.
2. I didn't say anything about people liking microtransactions. The person who posted what I replied to has made multiple comments about people that don't like BF2 being &qu...
You don't know anything about the people posting. You're just making assumptions because clearly you can't imagine that people might have a different opinion than you.
I rented this game from Red Box when it launched just to see what all the controversy was about. And you know what? You are right about one thing. The game is a lot of fun.
But the system EA tried to implement is unforgivable and nothing more than pure greed along with thinking ...
@ Tankbusta
Well yeah thats very true. Performing maintenance on a Friday would be very dumb of them.
@ Tankbusta
If its really down for maintenance then these things happen for all paid online services. Its not an issue. Unfortunate timing, maybe.
At least Monster Hunter can be played offline though. They could have easily made it online only.
Hahaha. Too funny.
Does your X play a lot of video games? Its hard finding girls that do.
There's a 50-60 hour campaign...or story. Or whatever you want to call it.
These are the only Xbox Exclusives there are, so they HAD to pick those 5 lol.
I mean, what else is there? A car from FORZA?
You are absolutely right in what you said though. None of these would even make sense. Aloy fits perfectly. I'm not sure there's even any other PS4 exclusives that would fit. Maybe Kratos? He fights big bosses also.
I would argue this should be 5/5. I honestly can't think of a single thing I would change. As a previous Monster Hunter player I think that speaks volumes.
Its about as perfect as a game can get.
