They aren't calling it a delay because they never expected it to launch this year to begin with lol.
I want Vietnam also. There are so few games during that period.
If not then 2143 would be awesome. 2142 had a special place in my heart. Titan Assault was so fun.
You have to hurt it until its limping first. And making it fall into your trap isn't always the easiest thing.
Lol to be fair the previous monster hunters haven't done a very good job of explaining it either. When I had to start trapping them in MH4U I had no idea what to do and had to Google it.
You do realize Microtransactions exist on PC also, right? You understand that EA also releases their games on PC?
Its fine to like PC but lets not act like its some pure world where crappy practices and Loot Crates or Microtransactions don't exist lol.
No it isn't.
Its not that big of a price cut. This puts the Xbox One S Master Chief bundlenor Forza 3 bundle at about $276.
Its really not much of a drop.
Yeah you aren't wrong. You have to know your timing with Charge Blade and especially know when to go to axe mode.
But with amount of damage it does in axe form, and the mobility you have in sword and shield mode, it makes for a pretty powerful weapon.
I started playing MH games with MH4U and Charge Blade was my first weapon i picked. But I only pull out the axe when I know the monster is either distracted by another player or my palico (Catrick Swayze...
Charge Blade is awesome, no doubt. But I still prefer the longsword. I've been using it since MH4U.
You should have a variety of weapons that you are good with.
At minimum I would recommend one melee weapon and one ranged weapon. Any monster can be beaten with any weapon of course. But the weapon you choose for the particular monster you are fighting makes a big difference in how well your fight will go.
I find that using ranged weapons against flying monsters is much easier than trying to attack them with swords or whatever.
But als...
I sure hope Sea of Thieves doesn't flop. I don't even own an Xbox but a good game is a good game.
Plus, if it does well then maybe we can get some more pirate themed games? Its a horrendously underused theme that is just begging for a quality open world game to be made. Perhaps a more realistic take on it than the cartoony presentation of this. Not that there's anything wrong with the cartoony look, mind you.
Might as well throw Charge Blade in there too. That thing is crazy powerful.
I'll stick with my longsword.
And how do you know gamers didn't play MH because it was "too difficult"? That sounds like you are grasping at straws with information you can't back up.
In this case it makes far more sense to look at the systems the previous systems the series released on.
WiiU and 3DS.
The amount of people playing 3DS in the US is no where near the amount in Asia. And WiiU sold horribly.
Again, gamers always knew ...
Dark Souls has nothing to do with Monster Hunter World's success.
In the U.S. you can chalk it up to this:
1. System Releases: For quite a while the only way to play a Monster Hunter game was on 3DS or WiiU. We know the WiiU sold like crap and not many gamers had one. The 3DS is a strictly portable system that is no where near as popular as actual consoles in the U.S. So not many people have played the newer ones either.
2. Quality...
Its nothing like Dark Souls.
"But also just out of my own personal opinion i would fight to the death for my family yes, but my government and country can go and do their own dirty work.."
And exactly what do you think would happen when your country gets invaded? If everyone in your country had the same opinion your family would likely be killed, or possibly even worse.
As long as a country isn't out doing shady things with their power than military might is absolutely ...
@ Omnisonne
I don't think they give any reasons like that. At least not the whole wreaking havoc on nature thing. Maybe they do and I'm not at that part yet?
But the argument of expanding civilization and needing to hunt these dangerous monsters to make it livable is a valid argument on its own.
These monsters aren't like wildlife in real life. In real life if you come across a bear in the woods, chances are it won't at...
No. We are entering a new area to settle and expand civilization. There just also happen to be vicious monsters there that will attack you on sight. So we gotta hint them and make life livable. The monsters aren't going to hunt themselves.
You realize you are in the vast minority, right? Fans and critics alike all seem to love it.
I wouldn't count on it.
I would count on loot crates though.
