Im sorry, is DOOM not a modern AAA game?
I don't care if its running at 30 fps. Its still a modern AAA game running on Switch.
And lets be honest here. How many "modern AAA games" actually do run at a steady 60 fps on anything short of PS4 PRO and Xbone X?
No one is claiming the Switch is the most powerful thing out there. But lets not go to the complete opposite side of the spectrum and make untrue claims that make it so...
DOOM says hi.
No. He gets scolded because his reasoning is non-sensical.
He said he gets tired of having physical discs sitting around the house because he can't get what he paid for them. Well how is digital going to get him what he paid for? You can't sell your digital games.
And even with physical games, you won't be able to sell your used games for what you paid for them anyway. They are USED. Unless you bought it used, then sell it for the same price o...
The regular PS4 (Non-Pro) has hiccups but its nothing serious at all.
The only thing is when you see flying creatures off in the distance, their wings become jerky and look like they are skipping frames. But those are only on flyers that are very far away and have no effect on anything even remotely close to your character, so it really isn't a big deal at all.
You will certainly notice the framerate speed up during fights and then dip down a littl...
Ultimate Spider-Man wasn't the last Spidey game, was it?
Wasn't there Shattered Dimensions and that other one where Venom's Symbiote was taking over the the city? I thought those came after Ultimate Spidey.
One game thats 20 years old and another thats 13 or 14 years old.....and Venom isn't the star of either of them. Lol
I don't think thats what they meant with this article.
Although those are both great games. Maximum Carnage is still one of my favorite comic book games of all time.
I don't think they couldn't care less about quality. Of course they want a quality game to be made. It just isn't AS important as getting the game out in time for the movie release lol.
Its no use. He's like the biggest troll in history.
He comes onto the site, never has a single positive thing to say about anything, and NEVER replies to people's comments.
"but i was wrong "
Well that shouldn't be surprising because you're pretty much always wrong. Like, always.
Insanity is a severe mental issue that should be taken very seriously.
There are plenty of therapists that would happily talk with you about your condition.
I will say that during matches there is never any lag. Even when it says hour opponent has 0 bars for their connection. As far as that, its one of the best online fighters I've played, connection-wise. And I buy almost all fighters.
But i've learned that as long as you set your matchmaking guidelines to include anyone in every category, then you won't have trouble finding matches. But as soon as you start getting picky you are only makingnit harder for yourself ...
I don't know. I'm no fan of single button combos. But you are definitely rewarded heavily for creating your own multi-button combos. There are people landing combos that take 50%-75% health. No "easy" combo does anywhere near that.
But yes, the story mode is painful. I can't figure out for the life of me 2 things:
1. Why would they make you press a buttong during cutscenes to move the dialogue along? I seriously fell asleep more than...
This game is awesome. And totally unforgiving.
Here's a tip that I wish I knew early on:
When you first begin don't be afraid to get rid of heroes who have taken on too ailments. It is very important in the beginning to start hording as much money as possible while the enemies are still easy to beat. This way, when you do start moving forward in the game and need higher level heroes, you have plenty of money to heal their negative status effects.
...
What framerate issues? I have a regular PS4 and its fine.
The only dip I cam ever see is with flying creatures that are way off in the distance. Their wings are very jerky when flapping. But that is only with flyers that are way off in the distance and are in no way effecting anything around my character.
I think the time was shortened for the beta. In the full game I have yet to come anywhere close to running out of time hunting a monster.
Yeah the beta was a very limited representation of what this game is. For fans, the beta could really only be used to judge whether or not you like the combat and controls.
It was missing literally everything else.
But if you don't like grinding then it may not be for you. I spent 5 hours or so Saturday night hunting the same monster over and over again until I got enough of its materials to craft a full set of its armor. Granted, I didn't have t...
Yeah man. The broken ring mode sucks bad.
Also, continually dropping from servers is awful. It happens both in the lobby and during matches.
I love the game but they aren't making it easy to want to keep playing.
I love this game! The Chinese Infantry General was awesome with his mini-gun turrets.
I always looked at it as Final Fantasy 12, since 11 was online and was always going to be a bit different.
Final Fantasy 10 was the last great FF game in my opinion, and Lost Odyssey picked up and ran with what go left behind. This game was classic FF at its finest.
Exactly. Its literally like any action/war movie. There's nothing that makes it any different other than maybe having the character names.
