Kirby Planet Robobot on 3DS is a lot of fun too.

Logically speaking, yes a 5 out of 10 would be average.

However, I've found most games with a 7 rating in most reviews to be average and certainly anything with a 5 or lower not even worth trying.

I think thats why a 4.5 is getting pushback. Most reviews don't use that logic.

Yeah? What about dat EA doe?

3029d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Come on dude. EA released Titanfall 2 like a month or two away from CoD and then put no advertising behind TF. Then, when TF failed financially, they swooped in and bought Respawn.

That was clearly planned.

First of all I'm pro-gun ownership. What I'm about to say is geared more toward the media.

But what I find interesting is that one of the stronger arguments for allowing ownership of guns is for personal protection. Or that some of these mass shootings might have been stopped if someone there had a gun.

But how often do we hear about civilians pulling out a gun and stopping something like this from happening? Whether its a store robbery, mass shoo...

I don't get the military rifle argument. Is it because they have larger magazines? Because I can go buy a handgun with a mag extension and pull the trigger just as quickly as an assault rifle.

People forget that AUTOMATIC assault rifles are still illegal. So if anyone is using that in mass killings then they already got their gun illegally.

You can raise the requirements to purchase and own guns. But you can never stop people from getting them illegal...

I think the important question here is how they managed to mess up the roman numeral for 4.

@agent4532

Thats a good point.

They usually do mostly focus on the European battles. Which is strange. The African front was famous for its tank battles, which could be really fun in multiplayer and campaign. And the Pacific front had more jungle warfare.

They could make quite a diverse game if they explored all of those locations.

While I do agree with you, there is also a point to be made. WWII games have been done quite a bit. Personally I would have preferred Vietnam before going back to the WWII well.

Vietnam is intetesting, hasn't been done very much, and still has somewhat modern weaponry. A new Vietnam game could be done unbelievably well now.

I'm not disappointed with WWII, I just feel like it has been done to death. CoD used to be only WWII back in the day. Battle...

On one hand that could be cool.

On the other hand, Link is really the only guest character in a Soulcalibur game that was any good.

I would to see Geralt show up in this game and not be great.

I'm sure there will be an Xcom 3. Nothing wrong with stretching out the playability of a great game though.

Well then you're in the minority then. Goldeneye was considered an amazing game even when it first released, before nostalgia could even be considered.

3036d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

I don't agree at all.

First of all you can't compare games of today with games from multiple generations ago. Yes, games today are far more advanced with better graphics, gameplay innovations, framerates.....i could go on and on. You have to think about where video games were as a whole at the time these nostalgic games were released.

You mentioned Goldeneye which I find absolutely crazy. It was one of the greatest FPS games of its time. There'...

Thay Psycho Mantis battle blew my mind.

The only time I had ever played another game that required you to manipulate the hardware in some way was on X-Men for Sega Genesis. After the Mojo level you had to reboot a computer in the game and you could only do it by pressing the Reset button on your console. Your console would reset and then the game would start up right where you were.

I'm surprised more games didn't take advantage of thingd like tha...

In some ways this is worse.

PSN was forcefully hacked by outside people. This showed that PSN needed to beef up security.

This is a friggin' mistake on Microsoft's part. Its like saying they can't be trusted with our information because they can't even keep it safe from themselves.

So while PSN should have had better security, no amount of security is going to protect us from Microsoft being incompetent. Whether it was...

Why the hell would it matter whether its a Western or Japanese game?

You mentioned ONE RPG, Final Fantasy. A game that is very obviously based in fantasy.

You mean to tell me that if a Japanese developer wanted to make a realistic RPG, they shouldn't be allowed? Lol

It just depends on what the developer wants the game to be. Doesn't matter what part of the world its made in.

That would never happen. If it did it would tear a hole in the space-time continuum. Reality itself wouldn't be able to handle it.

Meh. I just couldn't get into Hearthstone. After playing Magic since it came out ages ago, Hearthstone always just felt too simplistic. Even Pokemon has more depth.

But I realize its hugely popular and it probably is a big missed opportunity to not release this on consoles. It should have been done a long time ago, honestly.

How are you going to jump on someone for a spelling mistake and then make a grammar mistake in another comment?

"...how to work a iPhone..."

So I suppose you need more book work also, no?
