There may not be anything that PS4 can do to make people not buy a Switch. But there certainly is something the Switch can do to get people to not buy a PS4.
PS4 is not a hybrid. It's a console hooked to the TV. The Switch is a handheld, certainly, BUT it also fills that gap of being a home console as well.
So while PS4 can't do anything about people that want a handheld, the Switch can definitely hurt numbers for Sony and MS for people who are lo...
Read other reviews. This is the only one I've seen lower than 8.5. Most are 9.0 or higher.
You shouldn't let reviews make up your mind. But you shouldn't ignore them either.
If you take the majority what reviewers are saying then it's usually a fairly accurate assessment. That's what I've found. I would never take one review as gospel. But when 8 or 9 out of 10 reviewers are saying the same thing, it's usually correct.
Everyone has their own likes / dislikes around certain franchises or genres, of course. But generally ...

No I'm not going to let one person make up my mind for me.
What I do is take the majority of reviews and use that as a guide. If it's still something that I want to play then I play it.
But let's be honest, ratings a strange with video games. 7.0 / 7.5 rarely means what it should. Most reviews of games that have those numbers are more like 5.0 / 5.5 /6.0 games.
So yeah, when taking the MAJORITY...
Yeah its decent. I would still rather play a game that got a 9.0 over a 7.5 though.
Interesting. Everyone else is giving it much better scores.
I would be all over this if they release it on PS4. But they ended up cancelling Magic Duels Origins after years of promising it would come to PS4, so I have my doubts.
I may just play it on PC though and call it a day.
Who cares if Zelda won more awards and sold more? Its Zelda.
The point is that even though Horizon released around the same time it still did huge numbers and won awards. You are talking like this is a Titanfall 2 situation or something where a game totally failed financially because it was released around the same time as major competition.

He's complaining about the game's design. He even mentions that there's nothing wrong with pirates fighting each other. But the design of the game is disappointing because his team respawns only to have the enemy pirates waiting for them so they can kill them over and over until they got bored.
He said he expects pirates to fight and loot other pirates. But when your crew doesn't even have anything of worth and the enemy playe...
Read the article. He isn't complaining about pirates fighting each other.
The best decision you ever made? Like...ever? In life?
I only buy digital if there is a good sale on a game I want. Otherwise I buy physical. Nothing like that new game smell.
As long as ports aren't causing new games to not be released or slowing down development, then I really don't see what the problem is.
I don't know how Nintendo does things, but when Sony and MS do ports and remasters they usually contract them out to 3rd parties. I don't know why Nintendo would be any different.
So knowing that, at the end of the day we all have tons of games that don't interest us that we don't buy. If ports don&...
Why do you say that?
Soul Calibur games usually put whatever guest character on the cover that is on that particular system.
Most Soul Calibur games have a different character for each system it releases on. I believe 4 had Starkiller on both systems but then Xbox got Yoda and PS3 got Vader. But each system has their corresponding character on the cover. Same with SC2. There were 3 total, one on each system. Spawn, Link, and Heihachi. Each system has thei...

I don't know. I don't like when games give costumes certain abilities because then you are kind of stuck with whatever costume gives you the abilities you like most.
The original wasn't too hard once you got your hands on the rebar with the chunk of concrete on the end lol. Best weapon in the game.
The original F.E.A.R. was awesome! Sadly, all the sequels just felt like they were somehow finding ways to continuously jump the shark. They just didn't do it for me like the original.
Haha. I grew up in the NES era. I had one since I was 5 years old. Talk about frustratingly hard games. Ninja Gaiden. Ghosts and Goblins. Castlevania.
We knew what hard games were like back then.
Or he could just not like the game. Y'know, like a whole lot of other people who bought it, played it, and hated it?
