I would be all for them remaking MGS 1-3 with graphical upgrades. But that's it! Don't change the story. Make it exactly the same, scene for scene. Just make them have current gen graphics.
The problem is people would still bash it even if was fantastic, simply because of all the Kojima controversy.
The Castlevania games from last gen were so good.
Thats.....actually a fantastic idea.
I would have loved that!
Bow was it "semi open world"?
You were given a number of planets that you could go to and explore in any order you wanted. Aside from main story driven missions, you were free to do what you wanted. I would consider it open world. It was much smaller than games nowadays, sure. But I don't think it can be called semi-open world.
It might be IGN, but when a game is getting the amount of perfect scores that this is getting from all of the review sites, you can take it to the bank.
The only reason anyone would end up not liking this is due to personal preference and the game not being "their cup of tea", not because the game itself is poor and doesn't deserve the scores.
I must be an early bloomer. I quite enjoy the peaceful solitude that few things like a good dump can offer. I have felt this way for quite some time and I am only 35.
They should really call it "leaving a dump".
I agree with him. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy things. It also doesn't mean I have to enjoy everything that gets shoved down our throats.
A solo Venom origin movie that does not feature Spider-Man is a bad idea whether it's in the MCU or not.
You probably should have used Venom: Lethal Protector as validation for a solo Venom movie.
This movie isn't featuring Agent Venom. It's about Eddie Brock Venom. Lethal Protector was a solo Brock series about Venom being an anti-hero.
Having said that, it is a bit ridiculous they are making a solo Venom origin story with no Spider-Man.

Interesting how you picked only PS exclusives to compare. I don't want to make any assumptions but it's almost as if you think I'm some kind of Xbox hater. Which isn't the case at all.
But I'll respond to your points.
1. Saying a game is "only" 2 points lower than another score is quite a big deal. It's the difference between a perfect 10 and an 8. A 7 or a 5. A 5 or a 3.
First of all, you're making quite the assumption by saying I think the only valid opinions are ones I agree with. I said absolutely nothing like that.
However, take a look at the legions of horrible reviews out there that this game is receiving. Both user reviews and journalist reviews. It speaks for itself. This game is considered to be garbage by the vast majority of people.
Does that mean that this review is invalid? No. If this guy genuinely liked...
This is comical.
The article gives it a 4/5.
Then at the bottom the user reviews are 0.73. Haha.
Then they are complete idiots.
You know, I never personally owned a Playstation system until PS4. I had NES when I was little, then Genesis/Sega CD, Then N64, then Xbox and Xbox 360. I LOVED the Xbox brand. But then when they announced the Xbox One the way they did, I decided to go to PS4 with full intentions of getting an Xbox One IF they decided not to go the route they initially announced.
So, MS announced that they would not release the Xbox One as they said they would. I still got a PS4 and still in...
Have you played that mech game yet? I can't think of the name but you are basically piloting a giant mech. That and Ace Combat make me want a PSVR.
Although I'm pretty sure Ace Combat will make me toss cookies all over my living room.
I would really like a new Ghost Recon game. Not Wildlands style, but a new, linear Ghost Recon. I miss those games.
@ Dlaw76
I'm pretty sure he did mean The Division because it was disappointing for quite a lot of people.
The updates aren't just a bunch of BS though.
Pokken Tournament added 4 new characters, which is great considering the game originally came out a long time ago on the WiiU and this ported version came with all the DLC and only cost $40. So I'm just excited they are still supporting it, much less adding new content so long after its initial release.
Fire Emblem has ALWAYS released paid content with their games. This is nothing new at all. Also, its...
It's fair to say that Kojima and the controversy going on at the time did play a big part in the game's success.
MGS games by Kojima would always do well. No question.
I would give my 3rd nut for a new Onimusha. Or even a remake of the originals with current gen graphic updates.
