There are far more issues with this game than it just simply being a MP game.
What games were you playing in 2005 that looked like BotW?
Right. None.
I've literally never heard a single person say they wanted a stealth Terminator or Robocop game.
I don't think its underrated. Isolation gets really high praise across the board.
Disney cancelled that Star Wars 1313 game that looked incredible the second they took over LucasArts.
Not to mention their plans to cancel all Fox-Marvel movies in development when they take over Fox.
So their track record all but confirms that they would cancel this. They have shown in the past that when they take over companies they cancel the projects in development so they can begin working their projects the way they want them done.
@ Alexious
We only need to look at their track record. Star Wars 1313 was in development by LucasArts and looked amazing. But when Disney bought Star Wars / LucasArts they cancelled all projects that were currently under development.
Also, look at Marvel/Fox. There is not a snowball's chance in Hell that Disney will allow all of Fox's current movies in development to see the light of day once they take over. That means that X-Force, New Mutants, a...
Disney will have full ownership of every Fox movie franchise no later than this time next year. That means this game will likely never see the light of day.
No one should be getting their hopes up over this. Disney bought Fox Entertainment. That means as soon as the Disney-Fox deal is 100% finished, which is expected to happen as soon as the end of this year or early next year, the Alien franchise will then be owned by Disney.
So if they are just now trademarking this, a game will not be anywhere near finished when Disney takes over and chances are they will cancel it.
Hit the nail on the nail on the head.
There were actually a couple Bully references in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Well, not actual references to the game or its events, but Easter eggs.
There is a lot to dislike about this game. I won't take that away from anyone. But a Fortnight clone? This game is nothing like Fortnight.
There have been plenty of World War 2 games that only focused on one part of the war...

I never said Pokemon was "a game for kids". So I'm not sure why you put that in quotes. I play Pokemon games too.
All I'm saying is that people keep saying Let's Go is "dumbed down" and has too much "hand holding" as if the core games are somehow more difficult. They really aren't. If they were then 6 and 7 year olds wouldn't be able to figure them out. That's the point I'm trying to make...
Let's not pretend like core Pokemon games are some kind of intellectual undertaking, or hardcore gaming experience. Children play those game. Lol
Just because a game is easy doesn't mean it isn't worth $60.
The production on this game are high in all areas and it's certainly not a short game. So what exactly makes you think it should be a $30 game aside from its difficulty? Because difficulty should never determine a game's price.
The game is fantastic. It's just suffering from entitled people that expected something else. But to he fair, there really isn't much difference between this and a core Pokemon game. The biggest difference is you don't battle wild Pokemon to catch them. You use the Pokemon Go motion control system.
But you still battle other trainers like a normal Pokemon game. Also, the Pokemon wandering in the world doesn't bother me. Mostly because I've had them spawn...
The game is fantastic.
The only real difference is that catching wild Pokemon is done with the motion controls and throwing the pokeball. Like Pokemon Go. But battling other trainers is just like battling always has been with a turn based battle system. Also, you can see Pokemon wandering in the world. But don't let anyone tell you there aren't random encounters, because even though they are wandering in the world, they also spawn into the world and will even spawn...
For someone who hasn't played it you sure talk like you know.

How much money have you given them?
It's nice to see someone admit when they were wrong. Especially a journalist.
Let's Go is still Pokemon through and through. It's a Pokemon game with a different catch mechanic and Pokemon that you can see wandering the world, which I actually prefer. But other than those changes, it's still a normal Pokemon game.
The production value is very high. It looks great, has great music, and it respects the world of Pokemon.
