a commercial mass market appeal type of game to have this first.
Does anyone know how finely you can set the rules for what kills the character and want just injures them?
If every console went down the Wii route then we would only get mediocre hardware, kid oriented games and nothing really substantial or engrossing as a game.
I like the fact that console makers try and push a graphical envelope for each generation. Think about it, without the return for research provided by putting it in a console the cell would probably never have been developed.
From my perspective I'd only miss the rumble. I'd be playing this for the the actual game itself; the story, the immersive-ness and the game play. Trophies or multi player wouldn't add to this.
You don't like water or animations?
I can't find the fireNes add on in the add-ons search area, is it any good?
If it is then I'd say it holds its own quite well.
I was worried that this game would be forever in development and so games and technologies would advance around it leaving it behind.
I think Tifa should have been in there.
Tifa - the local girl who grows up and learns how to fight to protect the things she believes and the people she loves.
but they I would say they are "good enough". Good enough to covey a story, to immerse you in a world. Now, whether this is possible from from the game itself is a different matter.
I don't know much about this game either but my point is just that could still be a good game even though it may not have the best graphics in the world.
I'd personally prefer to pick it up on disc.
I wonder if they could have but this on DVD instead..........?
that despite what they have said in this article and the contradicting stuff which has been said in the past, the jury is still definitely out on what is actually going to happen.
I am not sure we will know for sure until just a few weeks before the releases.
why would they talk about the japanese version to an Australian magazine? They did know who they were being interviewed by, right?
It's blue, it has clouds, it's in motion so there is some motion blur. What more do you want from sky?
The characters is where it counts because that's up close and as you said, they do look good.
edit: high def - good examples. the colours created from the sunset look brilliant.
It pissed me off.....boy am I angry now!!!
Damn stupid smiley face.
this MMO fits your different category. it wasn't like the others out there. However, this fails in the *fun* category.
The concept sounds amazing buts thats not where this is flawed. It was a lot simpler than that, people just didn't want to play the base game. So no matter how many add-ons and features you add if nobody is playing then nobody will care.
I mean, it depends on your definition. Would would be classed as "defining" on the 360? Gears of War? If so does that mean the 360 is nothing more that a 3rd person blast 'em up which, although fun to play, has a relatively low IQ.
Maybe a console doesn't need a game to define it. Maybe the console is defined by all the good games available on it.
I don't think LBP will define the PS3. I think
LBP + MGS4 + DF + anything else you may like defin...
I know no one really likes EA but the devs have worked hard at this game and from a holistic point of view they have created something new and interesting. As a gamer, I for one would like to support and encourage that. By pirating, we seriously damage the devs income and their ability to provide us, the gamers, with new big exciting and innovative projects in the future. We like to bash EA but in the process we are also bashing the developers.
I know this is a conflicting view ...
kind of disappears when they can't spell throne properly......
It isn't so good if the solo campaign has to suffer just to squeeze an online component in there. I personally think that the solo campaign and story should always be the number 1 priority and multiplayer is the added bonus. Unfortunately as multiplayer gets bigger the single player seems to get smaller.
Would bioshock or uncharted be as good if the devs tried to squeeze in multiplayer components? Maybe, but only with delays.
