who usually likes to act a bit macho with lots of bravado (I'm sure you can guess his normal type of games) but even he thought this looked like good clean fun and now wants to buy it.
The biggest point here is that he didn't even have to play it, he just watched me for a bit and wanted it so if this is anything to go by, a few good ads should really shift some copies.
I don't get it, why is gore such a "good thing for gamers"?
If the game is released as opposed to banned then yes that is a "good thing for gamers" but if a games gore went from 10 on the gore scale down to 7 to satisfy a few rules is that really much of a difference to the overall game. Is the entire package really that gimped just because the gore has been cut a little? Is their Fallout 3 experience that much difference to ours?
Someone enlighte...
I wonder if this will actually be done with style and actually have an air of sophistication which it potentially could. Or will Dante's poem just be used as a platform for another mindless gore-fest?
I hope this isn't dumbed down too much.......
Although it's nice speculate but to go through all the emergent technologies and just ask "will the ps4 support this?" "or this?" "or what about this?" just seems a little pointless.
On the article though, I don't think this technology is practical for home use.
there seems to be a lot of hate at the critiquing on game story telling. Do these people think that gaming has story telling nailed? That it's perfect and has no room for improvement?
He isn't critiquing stories though, just the telling of those stories. And I have to agree, there is a distinct stop/start feel to the way some games tell stories, one minute you are playing a game the next you are getting fed tonnes of information in a cut scene.
I think Steven think...
EA being buyable is one aspect but another is who would want to buy it? Who wants to buy a ship with a hole in it? Now, if a buyer thinks that hole can be patched then they might be interested. But if it was that easy then you'd imagine the current guy at the helm attempting to do just that. What if the problem was more deep rooted than that? What if the devs working for EA just aren't good enough?
Now I don't really believe that, plenty of games show that there is talent within ...
Tell me he didn't just say that Microsoft should use DVD for their next gen console......?!
but it is something that they should account for. The hopefully will have planned their server model to not only hold average-high traffic but peak traffics as well.
I assume in the future there will be events on home that will draw lots of people and by this point a lot of people will have signed up to home so there will be nothing to stop millions logging on at once. They should have planned for scenarios like this as well.
However, I'm sure there will be unexpecte...
I just watched it. The girl is kinda cute but it really is just an advert for up coming items.
to the trailer which shows Jill's tomb?
I haven't seen it and was just wondering where she was buried, was her grave in africa?
mostly because the people who bought a wii wouldn't buy a 360/ps3 and the people who bought 360/ps3 wouldn't buy a Wii. Of course I am generalising here (I am sure there are many exceptions) but I am talking in the sense that if a gamer can afford one console and I think mostly that's the case, the kind of person who likes the type of games on the 360/ps3 (more hardcore/non casual games) wouldn't be persuaded to buy a Wii instead.
But this same person would have a harder debate o...
I don't think that MK vs DC is that bad a game, the graphics seem acceptable and the game seems fun and playable. But despite all that, people just don't want it.
Well, there is a small article about it in the latest Empire magazine. I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything else?
if I had all the money in the world I would still only pick one console mainly because I only have the time to play one. And as each console has enough games that I want to play to take up my time, I have to pick a console which seems that best to me.
For some people, this means feeling the need to constantly justify why they think their console is the best and that leads to flame wars.
Sad but true.
else read that the 3rd movie is in talks to be made? And that is why the name of the game changed from Ghostbusters III to Ghostbusters the video game?
there is a blu-ray version out next year for the anniversary.
but for most it doesn't and as most don't want cables trailing around their house wireless has become the new standard.
Don't get me wrong, I am all for choice, if not having wireless is a big saving for a person then the 360 certainly seem more logical. However, if you do need wireless and some other add-ons to make it as functional as the PS3 the logic isn't so clear. Of course, with this argument I am just talking about price, the other factors you mention for console choice (...
When did this become "Ghostbusters The Video Game" and not Ghostbusters 3? I guess the reason for the change is that they are actually seriously considering the movie now. I read an article in the latest Empire magazine stating that all the stars probably would do a movie if the script was right.
that the article only takes the base console price as the argument for being cheaper. It doesn't really look at some of the "basic" peripherals that you have to buy on the 360 but not on the PS3. Things like play and charge and wifi.
but as a poster said above they gave 39/40 to Last Remnant which has numerous technical flaws and last time I check I think it was internationally agreed that technical flaws are bad.
I guess what I am really saying here is not why didn't they give WKC a higher score but why didn't give Last Remnant a lower score?
