Where is she called that?
On another note, thanks for that link. I think her deadpan, calm delivery of, well, everything is hilarious.
Who is she?
@above - her youtube profile says she's 24...... but do we believe it?
Never seen that before.....hilarious!
Boobs!
I'm not entirely sure that people disagreeing with your opinion = "Sony fanboy". In fact, I disagree with that statement and I'm not a fanboy which makes your statement incorrect.
Anyway, going back to final fantasy I completely agree with you. While I do think it is a really diappointing FF it isn't the worse RPG this Gen. There are many bad ones to pick from.
For FF I think the problem is the lack of game play imagination. I think th...
Dude, you said it, the iPhone seems to have a free pass when comes to reviews. Terms like "setting industry standard" seem to get banded about before anyone has thought about what that really means and what a phone really has to do to deserve that term.
If this phone "sets the industry standard" then the bar really isn't very high.
And while I am on the subject since when are any apple products at "industry standard price"? ...
For FF XIII I don't think they did change it up that much. With each iteration the have always changed the battle system, sometimes more than others. So they have continued that with this one. Great so far.
But with the rest of it they have just steamlined it, made it simpler, removed stalwart features. Is this really trying something new? Or is this just trying something less?
I'm sure if someone has said this below (haven't check that far) but I don't think this camera, as describe is about motion tracking or anything to do with that. It's about 3d video capture.
It sounds like it's essentially a 3d webcam (although if real I am sure it will have further uses than that).
"A surprising number of people need to wear glasses in order to see the TV clearly - these are all barred from watching in 3D without ludicrously expensive prescription 3D glasses."
I completely disagree with that.
This is completely wrong, if it was true then you can guarantee that the manufacturers would be working on a way around it because otherwise it would be one huge missed demographic.
My colleague at work has just bought ...
"Even dying is fun in 3D!"
Edit: Someone beat me to my quote! But that one did make me laugh.
If you enjoyed it then get it. Don't let the media sway your decision too much. Remember: you are your own best game reviewer and critic!
but the brunette in the first photo is a cut above the rest. She's super pretty.
I don't like the new Cole. I mean, it's not a game breaker and I will probably get this as I loved the first (hence the reason I have an opinion on Cole) but I like the original Cole. He was an every-man which is why he could go good or bad. He was fallible but came across as a guy tough enough to take it.
This younger looking pretty boy Cole doesn't seem tough at all and more importantly, he doesn't feel like the same Cole I went through the first game with....
"but their bias is not unfounded "
You mean "but claims of their bias are not unfounded"?
Sorry to be pedantic but the difference between the two statements is quite a lot.
I am disappointed that FFXII sold so well because this just encourages SE to make gimped Final Fantasies, or even just RPG's, in the future. I was kind of hoping it would just (mariginally) die.
but showed it to my colleagues who didn't get it at all. I was just left chuckling to myself......
They went pretty creative for reptile and baraka so a little imagination for Sub Zero would translate him equally well. Maybe his ice throwing will be more mechanical? A device prehaps? Maybe they will get creative on a cellular level like they did with reptile?
Either way, it can be done but of course, just because it CAN be done doesn't mean it will be done well.
Did you watch the trailer?
I thought it was a great translation.
Completely agreed. The trailer was awesome and what you said about action sequences nowadays exactly reflects what I feel.
Bubble.
it was about the gaming industry in Japan as a whole as well and from this standpoint I agree with him and so do a lot of Japanese devs as evidence in the games they are producing. FFXIII is a good example; where is the real Japanese elements to the game gone? The quirky side games, the imaginative characters, the Japanese title track?! Why has Resident Evil turned into an action shooter?
I'm not saying these don't appeal to Japanese gamers but the devs are trying to ...
still nothing about that.....wow, I have high hopes for this game. For me it will be the game that shows that Square Enix haven't completely dropped the ball this gen. But all this secrecy, makes me nervous.
Nonami Takizawa?
