@Redemption-64
-"And when his opinions don't match your own then what?"
I don't get why you're framing 'most gamers,' as an already ill-defined collective, as having an all-or-nothing approach to another's opinions. I think most people can recognize that no person is going to uniformly line up with their own tastes. Personally, I think somebody *trusting* another critic is less so determined by feeding their personal na...
No, I think the lore itself is pretty good - albeit a bit derivative. The emphasis is on the world presented *within* the level design. Hell, let me bring up a past Bioware example: Mass Effect 2. Places like The Citadel or Omega are likely more constrained and limited than Treviso or Minrathous with regards to square footage, yet their atmosphere is richer and they feel vibrant. There's a yearning to explore and talk to special people around every corner. Treviso & Minrathous fe...
Fair enough. Glad you're enjoying, but I do want to make one important correction. A 4/10 on VGChartz doesn't translate to a broken mess, as you put it. Here's from the site's methodology:
"4 / 4.5 - Poor
Before investing in these sub-par games, think twice. They get a few things right, but too many obvious problems make them difficult to recommend."
I think it's important to understand the score within this conte...
@CrimsonWing69
You're misunderstanding the point of my comment.
Alright. What would you give it?
Overly positive = paid shill
Overly negative = clickbait
Like clockwork.
@Profchaos
No, a better way of understanding it is like an officially-endorsed broken street date at a premium. By your same rationale, virtually *no* movie, game, etc. has then ever released on its posted release date. Look at movies: official Friday releases for big blockbusters, but some theaters would even do late Wednesday night showings. So, then, who actually saw it on opening night?

@SoloZelot90 & @gold_drake
I'm not sure what's compelling you to double-down against my correct clarification, but okay.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wi...
Every advertisement, official source, etc. on this game says "releases December 9th for PC & Xbox Series."
Technically incorrect.
-4 days before launch
-1 day before "earlier access" launch with the premium edition (if pre-ordered)
Well... I think I ought to correct myself, Garethvk. Because there *was* that mainline quest where Lando assists you against a few waves of Imperials. The more I think about it, Christopher has a point that it does feel like double-dipping for marketing purposes.
I think Ubisoft's angle is this: he'll play more of a role than as an ability teacher & the final target for the Pazaak side quest.
I know. It remains a stupid thing.
I love seeing Game of the Year 2024 nominations revealed 1.5 months before the year is finished.
Red Dead Redemption feels like cheating imo.
That's a fair point too.
But it's not like that's prevented other non-Game Pass AAA titles from breaching the top 50.
That's wild to think about compared to DA: Inquisition. I'm pretty that was quite high up in Xbox One Digital charts back in 2014.
While not amazing, Border Bots VR was a genuine surprise for me.
@Armaggedon
You understand that even within those comprehensive end-of-year lists, not *everyone* uniformly holds the same opinion on the same game, right? You keep over-emphasizing this notion of a collective group-think ("they believe x or y") when that may not apply. Even if there's strong shared opinion, at least adding some extra context can help in how you approach your critique of them.
Just for reference:
-LOTR: Gollum received a 1.5/10 from here.
