You can have that amount on PC as well for CoD3, I'm just mentioning the basic number on consoles as well. When I mentioned WaW, I was referring to the 1 thing being zombies mode but that's it. CoD3 introduced (not by mods) sprinting on MP, class-based MP, and War mode.
WaW was better executed but you can't honestly say what's basically CoD 4.5 is better, can you?
You're actually insinuating that the retail price of its hardware at launch actually affected review scores? Why are PS3 fanboys grasping for straws on older games. Many have played them and they weren't good (actually, more would lean towards them being bad).
If this arguement was true, then games like Warhawk and Resistence wouldn't have received the scores they did. The difference being between those and the bad new launch ip's was they were acclaime...
No, bro. CoD3 actually offered more than one new addition to the CoD series. Its class-based MP is actually really enjoyable and still offers the most players in one game for a CoD game (24).
Trinity Universe> Mass Effect 2, Bayonetta, Bioshock 2, Bad Co. 2, Alan Wake,...? Hmmm, I'm not seeing the razor-sharp wit you're seeing I guess :P
I personally find Call of Duty: Waw to be the worst main entry into the franchise. Zombies were cool but they (Treyarch) totally laid back with CoD4's ideas and ran with WWII ones. At least, CoD3 offered Treyarch's own ideas and it did pretty well for 8 months of dev. time.
Black Ops looks promising but I wouldn't get my hopes up. The helicopter part isn't cutting it.
You would know this how (in lamens terms, have you played the game)? Around 5-10 metacritics have given it a 10 already.
Everyone's greedy to a certain degree.
But Remedy stated that they were working on this DLC around the time Alan Wake was released and started planning on The Writer.
Stoked for this DLC :D. Be interesting to see how it pans out with the overall story.
Those things have a nasty habit of being given out during the end of the year.
You have to get a thrill in trolling AW threads. That seems to be all that you do :P
Although some of those are terribly general to begin with (how many games don't have a police or federal autority in them?) but some make some interesting comparisons. If so, I'll probably pick Deadly Premonition up because Alan Wake was great :D.
@KingKliff
I'd say you're the one acting like a troll, not the other posters. You've given your opinion (dozens of times it seems) and he's given his. No need to be overly-vocal about anyone who...
It's not like their commercials end off with an "It Only Does Everything" slogan....oh wait. Quit posting your own lies on here and deal with the facts that ALL companies produce cheap shots, false claims, half truths, and lies. Businesses grab onto almost anything if it can help them succeed.
First I'll see a "oh it's nowgamer meaning it's xbots trolling" BUT when they direct the negativity (which all systems get from all sites) to a different console, it's a whole new ballgame.
Its production values are better than MGSIV to begin with. Did you mean Uncharted 2 or GoW3?
almost over 9000! lol sorry I was just too tempted to say it.
A rotten captain corpse that had been dead for ages and a golden statue that still doesn't explain WHY they're attacking you does not tie into the storyline. As for GoW3, I don't know since I haven't played it yet but I can see the point being drawn for both sides of the arguement.
You really can't tie in either of Uncharted's sub-antagonists (Zombies or Guardians) to the storyline completely
You can definatly have your opinion about Metal Gear Solid and I'm sure many can come to agreements with you in that regard, BUT don't insinuate that Halo fans aren't LOYAL. They'd stop at publishing 1 book if that were so.
This is basically what someone else mentioned on the original response. Star Wars was milked from the get-go if you want to be technical about it. Movie critics even made comments about it during their reviews!!!!
And here I thought it's about subjectivity. Could've fooled me....
